Move America Forward will be conducting the You Dont Speak for Me, Cindy caravan beginning next week. It will feature military family members who have loved ones serving in the war against terrorism in Iraq or Afghanistan. The delegation will be led by Deborah Johns of Marine Moms. (Her son has served in Operation Iraqi Freedom).
Main caravan leaves from San Francisco, California on Monday, August 22nd. Other caravans will depart from around the country. If you want to be part of a caravan, email us with your name and location you will depart from and we will include in our caravan coverage so people in your area can depart with you.
Everyone arrives in Crawford, Texas for a giant We Support Our Troops AND Their Mission Rally on Saturday, August 27, 2005.
If you have a loved one serving in Iraq or Afghanistan and would like to join the caravan please contact Move America Forwards Robert Dixon: Robert@MoveAmericaForward.org
Cant wait for that caravan to roll into Crawford. Then the world will see how the rest of us feel....BTW the prayer warriors are out in full for a safe caravan for all.
She really made me feel sorry for her son. He was a hero...she is a few bricks shy....might have to add her to my tag line.
Welcome to Free Republic.
Could you give me an idea what the links you've posted are about?
I'm just thinking the Caravan should be in T-E-X-A-S by now. Does anyone know of a way to donate $ to the Caravan, for example gas money for the trip back...?
The latest report is that the Caravan is due in Amarillo, T-E-X-A-S about one hour from now (4:00 p.m. Central Time). Whoo-hoooo!!!!!! Yee-haaawwww!!!!!
They're making pretty good time!
Goto the Move America Forward website at:

Look for the 'donation /support this cause' link in the body of the main page, about half way down.
A bump and a prayer for all the caravanning patriots in Texas today. May they all reach their destination safely, have a great rslly, and get home safely.
Here's a bump and a question.
Does anyone know how many vehicles are with the caravan at this point?
I'm hoping it's a hugh and series number!
Prayers for everyone's safety and a great rally.
It's red white and blue and folds tightly inside a case so that storage in your trunk is a snap! BUY ONE IF YOU WANT TO SIT DOWN, FRIENDS!
Crawford out in the middle of that place in Egypt...better stop and get plenty of water (local water may not be all that tasty) and sunscreen to go along with that chair...a hat is mandatory, too.
keep hydrated...
Why not all the profits?
Currently we are about a 2-3 hour drive from Crawford. While it is tempting to join the caravan, we have committed to driving freinds to the airport that day and the flight can't be re-scheduled around this.
Gonna have to check it out today. (I usually check through azcentral as I am more familiar with navigation...but will go to the RAG on-line.)
"I caught them up on the news of the day which they had missed. LOL. "
I hope you told them THEY are the news of the day !!!
Granting that I limit my tv/radio to conservative-friendly media venues, but all day that's about all I heard .. the "You Don't Speak for Me" caravan (hate to put her name in there). So glad you were there to meet and greet them.
Thanks for the link on how to donate to this worthy endeavor! ...Ahem... The site has been very busy today.
Well come back home! We're getting over run with liberals here!:)
To bad you can make it down there. I'm so excited about this project!
The AZrepugnant is a terrible paper...I get the Trib too which is a little better. Truth be told I don't read either of them but Hubby points me to the articles I would be interested in after he reads it.
