Supporters of U.S. Involvement in Iraq Plan Caravans to Texas

Move America Forward will be conducting the “You Don’t Speak for Me, Cindy” caravan beginning next week. It will feature military family members who have loved ones serving in the war against terrorism in Iraq or Afghanistan. The delegation will be led by Deborah Johns of Marine Moms. (Her son has served in Operation Iraqi Freedom).

Main caravan leaves from San Francisco, California on Monday, August 22nd. Other caravans will depart from around the country. If you want to be part of a caravan, email us with your name and location you will depart from and we will include in our caravan coverage so people in your area can depart with you.

Everyone arrives in Crawford, Texas for a giant “We Support Our Troops AND Their Mission” Rally on Saturday, August 27, 2005.

I woke up this morning to the news that hundreds of people were in a vigil last night - supporting sheehan - and saying President Bush is a war criminal. I felt very saddened by this -- and thought - they're trying to re-create the anti-war movement during the Vietnam era.

In fact, I was watching the local Fox (L.A.) outlet last night and in their plentiful coverage of the Sheehan Crawford campout, they were extolling her as "the leader of the growing anti-war movement." [I know... barf] Then, they featured "candlelight vigils" in Studio City and I forgot elsewhere with idiots holding up "Stop the War Now" signs, etcetera.

Only problem for them is this: it's a different world now -- the MSM is not the only voice. Thank God! That's why standing up like this Caravan is doing - and all those other people in our country voicing support of the President and the Troops and the War on Terror, will keep this anti-war pinkos from being successful.

Obviously, you are poorly informed, probably as a result of getting your info from leftist anti America web sites. Terrorist activity was well entrenched in Iraq, and has been since the late 1980's. Just because Leftist MSM chooses not to print the information does not mean it does not exist. Of course they weren't fighting us before we got there, think about the stupidity of your statement for a moment. Saddam's pursuit of WMD was also well documented, what do you think he used to gas tens of thousands of kurds? The UN was supposed to be monitoring stocks of these things that were tagged and counted, where did they go? Terrorism, or more accurately Islam Jihad has been growing and gaining momentum for the past 30 + years, largely ignored by previous Democrat governments, even after 238 marines were killed in Lebanon in the 70's. Saddam and Iraq were and are part of it. You need to open your eyes and understand what's going on in the world. Just because you served in Nam doesn't mean you know everything. Try looking and seeing what's going on around the world. From Sudan Algeria, to the Philippines and Indonesia, Islamic Jihad is everywhere. they are at war with us, whether you want to see it or not. Wars are not won by fighting them defensively. There has never been a war won that way in the history of mankind. If you want to maintain your freedom, you have to go out and fight for it, otherwise you WILL loose it. Has history not taught you anything? or have you even bothered to study it?

We are at war, you either fight for us, or you fight for the enemy. Right now, you are fighting for the enemy by choosing to remain ignorant of the situation in this world, and not understand who/what/where our enemy is.

I just recently found this site and am glad I now have a voice here. I have to say that I am jumping for joy knowing that you all are going to be arriving in Crawford soon! My husband is one of the local radio personalities that was involved in trying to hold a Pro-Troops/Bush rally in Crawford on August 13th. That is until the left-wingers, namely Ed Schultz, got a hold of the information and turned it all around, which by the way was NEVER an Anti-Sheehan event! But that is what they are good at isn't it?! With the enormous amount of death threats that have plagued us over the last week, we unfortunately had to cancel our event. And Cindy Sheehan says on MSNBC last Thursday that THEY are afraid for their lives! Whatever, the threats are coming from your camp to us by the hundreds! Kudos to Tony Snow, who interviewed my husband last Thursday and put the REAL information out! Anyway, I am so grateful that all of these people will be coming in to show their support for the troops and the President and show the WORLD that there are far more people out there that support the troops and war than Cindy Sheehan. I am an Army brat and I work with the military every day, as well, my husband and his show are loved by many in the military here at Fort Hood. The media is being very one-sided here and it is time that it stops!

The candlelight vigil in Decatur got the same kind of coverage on at least one local Atlanta station (11 Alive). The "reporter" who was out there talking to people never mentioned that Axis Cindy has already met with the president and originally made favorable comments about the meeting. He ended his report along the lines of, "the people here just want the president to meet with grieving mom Cindy Sheehan for five minutes."

Needless to say, the "reporter" failed to report quite a lot.
