The Heart of Texas Chapter of FreeRepublic.com is holding a rally in Crawford, Texas today to show America's support for our troops, President Bush and the war on terrorists in Iraq, Afghanistan and elsewhere around the world.
The rally will be held at noon at the Crawford Civic Center at 1000 4th Street.
Freepers are coming from near and far to join the H.O.T. Chapter in Crawford. If you live within four hours drive of Crawford, it's not too late to hit the road and get on down there.
Folks in attendance will be calling in to me, Brad's Gramma and Jeff Head with live updates from the scene. I am told that cellphone coverage in Crawford is spotty. However, it may have gotten better of late.
We'll see.
Hat's off to Basil, Doctor Raoul, The Sarce and 2ndAmendmentMama (and anyone else) who've been scrambling the past two days to make this happen. Good luck!
"As for here, send lunch to your local recruiter. Thank a Vet. It only takes a few minutes to do any of this and you and I know it makes a BIG difference in the life of a service person."
Another perfect example of playing offense, rather than defense!
Time to quit giving these anti war nuts free publicity.
In her hatred, she has an almost maniacal obsession with the President. It makes her mental and emotional health quite questionable.
VIDEO ONMSNBC right now! look on the front page. It is the number 1 link on the front page "Video: Counter protests in Crawford"
It's a long, long way from Alberta to Crawford but the heart flies at light speed. God bless you at this rally. There are many many people up here in 'North Texas' that support you, President Bush and the troops efforts to overcome the enemy. Sounds like it's going to be an exciting advwenture and we wish we could be there too!
Ain't that right!
"I know it is frustrating to see the MSM coverage on her. But we all know that is what they do."
Who cares what the MSM does.
It's not like President Bush has to worry about being re-elected.
Who cares what "the poll" numbers say.
President Bush doesn't.
He was an adult and he made his free will choice...and now she is using his able and loyal, patriotic service as a means to support everything that service was against. How utterly pathetic and disgusting IMHO.
We need to make sure an outpouring like never before occurs for the support of our troops. So they can know that this bitter womans feelings are an enigma and not representative at all of the people of the nation as a whole. So our enemies will also realize this and find no aid or comfort in her bitterness and tirades.
Whose property is across the street from them?
Should FReepers with RV's and plenty of free time set up a camp across the street in style with all kinds of stuff we, Americans, enjoy, but they hate, such as, outdoor BBQ? With plenty of US flags and children, of course. Let's call it "Camp Freedom."
BRAVO!!!
"I and my family worked very HARD to re-defeat you this time, but you refuse to stay defeated."
"Re-defeat"? Sounds like a moveon.org true believer all along.
Great idea. Maybe even offer an olive branch to Cindy and the other democratic activists...perhaps offer them some hot dogs and drinks
Very true!
Also if you live near a VA hospital, or Vets home.....
I think we can add "stalker" as well, especially if she does follow him back to Washington.
The more one reads and digs...the more clear that is.
This is downright refusal or inability to deal with reality. I was pretty bummed after the '92 and '96 elections but I didn't talk like that.
Jeff-
I can also host photos if you need me to.
About 25 people have found their way to the rally site so far. They're still setting up so they'll be starting a little late. One camera crew on scene. Basil and Raoul met four military mothers who came to Crawford to speak out in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. One of them agreed to speak at the rally.
Do you think they are vegetarians? If so, hot dogs would be perfect for them.
