"Did he or did he not kill a woman at Chappaquiddic" Ann Coulter

On Hannity and Colmes, While discussing the requirements of a Supreme Court nominee, Ann just sarcastically noted that it was ok to kill a girl at Chappiquiddic. Colmes said that was a low blow and that comment was below her.

WHY??? WHAT is so darned SACRED about mentioning the truth???

Ann said, "Why..."

Colmes didn't answer, and the set was quiet.

Hannity and Reagan (another guest) should have spoken up.

This is another example of "The Emperor is NAKED!"

I'm having a difficult time believing he's serious. BUT, he could be.

I have already given him the dead horse award.

I think most states would have classified this as "manslaughter." Not much jail time, if any.

It was definitely manslaughter but the Kennedy $$$ bought off the law. How many other people with a blotch like that on their record could be elected U.S. Senator? The fact that S.O.B. has ever had the chutzpah to stand in judgment of any other human being is a miracle of human hypocrisy and gullibility.

Anne Coulter's great genius is being able to see -- and have the stones to talk about -- the elephants in our national living room. Yes, McCarthy was right. Yes, Teddy is guilty of -- but not convicted of -- manslaughter. As another poster said, she had the temerity to violate the double standard that's been in place since at least the 1960s in this country. Good on yer' Annie!!!!

I am wondering if Ann is Mary Jo is this life?? The way she dropped that bomb and landed on Colme's lap, was priceless.

"This is truly a unique and scarce individual."

I cannot imagine why Jorge is identifying so strongly with a slimeball who left a young woman to die a slow death which he could have prevented if he weren't so concerned about protecting his career. It's creepy. I can only assume Jorge is reliving some trauma but Teddy is unworthy of his/her empathy.

In some small, STRANGE way, i can ALMOST see what he is saying:

That conservatives should really tear apart Kennedy's voting record rather than focus on Chappaquiddick.

But there is a big part of me that can NEVER forget that a human life has been lost because of Teddy's negligence, and I can never forget it.

To argue that we should spend more time on Teddy's politics than on his moral shortcomings seems stupid. Why argue this? Why not just continue to criticize him for both???

"...Maybe its the fact that Ann has the guts to say the facts on tv that has them all shocked..."

I think you nailed it here! None of these news discussion shows dare confront liberal transgressions except to excuse them in the "everyone does it mode."

Ann Coulter had the audacity to express what people really think of this episode in the licentious Kennedy's life.

Just as Rush knows, he confirms what everyday people are thinking, not the other way around. Ann has done the same and "CHEERS!" to her.

(topic) Sexual Harrassment

Message:

Remember me, Teddy? I would have been 65 this year, had I lived. But you killed me deader than a doornail. And enjoyed scrambled eggs afterwards. Did you put Tabasco on them? Ketchup?

But of course, none of this means anything to you. Instead you have taken your evil Father's rum-running millions and used them to try to foist a Socialist Paradise that Castro or Karl Marx would be proud of.

When you are alone, do you consider the Uthurian irony of your family? All of you are discredited or deceased, including your drug-addict sex-fiend older brother.

There have been more Bush family members as President than Kennedys. And they continue to have a dynamic presesence in government and American affairs. The Kennedys are pretty much done. Honey Fitz failed. Miserably.

Your continued existence in government is a result of the complete inability of the people of Mass. to think original thought. White, racist, and Liberal, just the way you need them to be.

Think of me daily Teddy, honey. I hope you have a long life. And every night I will kiss you. And I hope every night you wake up with the smell of stagnant water and the taste of my water-soaked lips.

Love

Mary Jo

Way to go Ann. Listen, nobody was a bigger Kennedy fan in those days than I was, and even I knew he killed that woman! I think now, and I thought then that it was disgraceful that he got away with it. How dare this remain a big secret while they still try to dig up Bush's DUI!

Ted Kennedy never cared for the woman, if he did why did he not try to rescue her. It would have been fairly simple, roll down the windows and pull her out, she had air for quite some time. He could have gotten help, but did he? No, he waited out the time so he would not register as a drunk driver and then called for help. He killed her, driving drunk and never paid the price.

There is the speculation he murdered her on purpose to hide the pregnancy, but this is speculation. According to any law in any state in this Union, he is guilty of felony manslaughter, but of course being a Kennedy he got out of it.

He is a dispicable human being and should never have been voted to office. Thank God people wised up when he ran for president.

He panicked. The water was barely over his head, yet he decided to go home for a shower, a drink, and a bunch of lawyers.
She drowned because he was a coward.

Yes, there's plenty of fodder for us with his politics and his rants and lies, BUT Chapp is not getting dug up over and over and over again, and over again --- because it's NEVER been properly buried.

Kennedy should be an ex-convict by now -- a felon, but dammit, he's a US Senator who keeps getting reelected and that's a crime in itself, IMO.
