I believe that probably 50-60%, yes I said half or more, of todays teenagers 14-20 are conservative. I know there are a lot of things out there that say otherwise, but it has been my situation and observation that this majority is oppressed by the radical left (which is at its prime in the teenage years {or their 50s-60s in the case of some of our politicans}). Even many of the teenagers who drink, have sex, and all the other 'bad things' consider themselves somewhat conservative and support the President at an overwhelming margin. I know of two people I'm friends with that support abortion. Even the teenagers who are sexually active, understand that it is NOT birthcontrol, and highly favor adoption if they cannot take care of the child themselves. While not responisble for being sexually active this early in life, this is the best course of action given the situation some have put themselves in. BtW, there's a lot more where this came from. The MSM likes to protray teenagers are pro-Hitler leftists with their political leanings...but then again, since when does the MSM tell the truth?

Funny thing about the word mad here in the US compared to mad in UK. We use mad to mean angry, they use mad to mean insane.

PC is killing us!!!

I agree with the importance of your list (it kinda reminds me of my tag line, only your list is more complete). I have to reiterate your list for any lurkers who have not thought through the significance and consequences of what CONNECTS all these hideous events:

London-Islamic terror

Bali-Islamic terror

NYC-Islamic terror

Madrid-Islamic terror

French Oil Tanker-Islamic terror

Istanbul-Islamic terror

Casablanca-Islamic terror

Thwarted Ricin Water attack, England-Islamic terror.

Beslan(One of the most abominable-children were specifically targeted)-Islamic terror

Moscow Theatre-Islamic terror

Iraq(they are killing their own daily in the name of Allah)-Islamic terror

Any number of cities and towns in Israel-Islamic terror

Im convinced Egyptair 990 was -Islamic terror

Jose Padilla didnt come here at the behest of the IRA, ETA, Action Direct, or AIM-Islamic terror.

Whatever. We'd be better off if more posters had the rational and reasoned approach that John HK brought. I didn't always agree with him, but valued his input, logic, and usually solid facts to back up his position. Too bad he isn't still around.

And I love how if someone doesn't proclaim that we should nuke Mecca yesterday, doesn't immediately jump to conclusions, and offers the logical explanations in response to the drama queen conclusions (such as early on this thread, where some were sure this was a chem/bio strike that the authorities were refusing to acknowledge), then obviously they are PC and are apologists for Islamic fascists. Gimme a break. One can recognize that we have active Islamicist terror cells without assuming that they are under each bed and responsible for every sneeze.

The terms PC and RINO are tossed around way too carelessly by some, often just because they don't agree 100% with someone else.

I purposely left out the pre 9-11 attacks, because FR is pretty much the only place that refers to them. Oh, I know the anniverseries are mentioned, but never the common denominator. TWA 847, Achille Lauro, Pan Am 103, Beruit Embassy (which occurred a year after the barracks attack killing the Marines and a number of French Troops stationed at the airport), are just events in a text book to most. I could one and on, but you get the picture. The common denominator is the same in all the events listed. To deny it is foolish. The unwillingness to finger Islam in Madrid, led in part to the most shameful capitulation in Continental European history. Spain, certainly no stranger to terror, enabled it even more by her vote. The Islamists still thinks Iberia belongs to them! yet they try to PC their way out.. Vichy means nothing to me now, when I think of cowardice in the name of terror or danger, I think of Spain..

Is that official warning notice from the Ministry of Magic?

Ever notice most of thes advice to the public notices are so non-specific as to be both useless and actually offensive to the thinking person?

Well, brilliant, let's line up Kaczynski's brother and Rudolf's brother and have them sterlized at the same time. Families of terrorists that they are.

It is madness not assume the usual suspects when a terror attack happens. Glen beck today had on a guy today who told of a sign in a mosque in NYC, I think it was, that has the number of the ACLU right inside the vestibule, to be called when a member feels profiled. That is madness. It is madness for the Brits to refuse to use the word terrorist. There are people on the loose in the UK right now who openly preach overthrowing the Government in their mosques, which are printed up and handed out as fliers. And they are protected! There was a "celebration" in some square in London where Mullahs celebrated the anniversary of 9-11. It is madness, to keep letting this stuff go unchecked. If we keep this up, we will be infecting eachother with a weaponized germ made up by follower of allah in one of our own universities.

Just thinking about words.....We call them subways...They call them "tubes". Do the Brits call a bus...a bus??

The word "tube" really hit me a few minutes ago.

When did I ever rule out terrorism in this attack? When have I ever refused to use the word 'terrorist'? When have I ever applauded the ACLU?

Welcome! Conservatives can disagree (I, for example, believe we have to think of Islam as the Dark Mark of our age, but some folks think it's just misunderstood), but at least we can discuss it.

I hope all is well for you in high school or wherever you are. Be brave, be strong.

What are your future plans (or at any rate, speaking as a former teenager, you future inspirations?).

Ánimo (Spanish for "courage"or "take heart").

I never said you did. Im decrying the insanity of PC. But I think you know exactly what Im talking about. We dont agree on this, Diddle, so Ill let it go. But I'll leave you with this-we now need to keep tabs on the people in our midst. As a result, people's feelings are going to get hurt. If we give into the handwringers, and not profile and apologize everytime Ibrahim Hooper complains, it will be the death of us. I took your comment yesterday as the type of PC, I describe. Perhaps I was hasty. Have a good day, Im going back out in 99 degree heat to finish cleaning off the carport. Something I should have been doing the whole time I have been on FR!!
