I remember you! You were that snotty kid with the permanent pout sitting in a pile of birthday candy telling everyone that it was just going to give you a tummy ache!

In 1982 President Reagan appointed Mr. Roberts to the White House Staff as Associate Counsel to the President, a position in which he served until joining Hogan & Hartson in 1986. Will Roberts get any Iran-Contra questions?

Oh ye, of little faith, weren't you caviling, just last night, about how positive you were, that the president was going to nominate another Soutter? LOL

Thank you! I knew you would let us down! I knew you could find a flaw in heaven!

So far, (from what I've been able to understand about the judicial 'leanings' of John Roberts) I think President Bush's selection will probably make Teddy want to have a little drink. And then another one. And another...
I know, I know. What doesn't cause that reaction by TK? :o)

Keep up the beatings for the good of America. Nothing like firm republicans pounding one of the squishy ones before it runs for re election.

I'm looking to see. I couldn't find anything from the 5th circuit case that he was on.
Only thing I saw was one high road post that was negative on guns, and that poster wasn't sure if it was that particular judge.
On a positive note, the Alliance for Justice hate his guts, and they are radical gun grabbers.

I hope he's a true conservative, ie a paleoconservative, and is against illegal immigration and for the closing of our Southern borders to third world aliens.Hush your mouth. You have unanswered questions waiting on you.
It won't be forgotten.

What was he thinking! What he was thinking is that we have anti-trust laws and have them for a good reason. Those of us who are more on the libertarian / civil liberties side of the conservative spectrum believe that big business is to be trusted very little more than big government.
Bork is quite alright in my book for it.

I hope JR Brown is the replacement candidate for Rehnquist: Scalia takes the CJ seat, JR becomes the Junior Justice. Oh, man, would that ROCK!!!
