You're right. Isn't the announcement to be at 9? The suspense is awesome!

Love the President for playing the game.

Does anyone have a pic of 'Major Roger Healy' of 1960's sitcom 'I Dream of Jeannie' ? Roberts looks like Major Healy. Can you find that pic Rebel? Would be funny.

ROFL!

Yeah, just give it some time. Watch the Demonrats pull out an Anita Hill/ Melodie Townsel. This is unfortunatley, just getting started.

However, I trust the President's pick and vetting (especially after Kerik) and good will prevail.

I wouldn't be so quick to celebrate. Bush nominated a white for this pick, which means it is a virtual certainty that a non-white will be picked to replace Rhenquist. So say hello to Chief Justice Alberto Gonzalez.

Perhaps this is to give Janice Rogers Brown some bench time before a prmotion. A black woman conservative Chief Justice nominee? Sweet.

Another Reason It Should Be Hard to Give Him a Hard Time
[Kathryn Jean Lopez 07/19 08:08 PM]

From AP:

Roberts' nomination to the appellate court attracted support from both sites of the ideological spectrum. Some 126 members of the District of Columbia Bar, including officials of the Clinton administration, signed a letter urging his confirmation. The letter said Roberts was one of the "very best and most highly respected appellate lawyers in the nation" and that his reputation as a "brilliant writer and oral advocate" was well deserved.

Great old classic. We have over 150 channels on Dish and that was the best choice, and we enjoyed it.

So when LS posted about what Graham said, I thought about the pod people taking over his body and mind.

Very much so. I am glad that the GOP greatly marginalized these kooks before their cancer would have killed the party. Look at the state of the democrat party under the control of their left wing moonbats, it is a dying party and if they continue like this for another five years it will be a totally dead party.

Turns out that "cave" was much ado about nothing, right? We got 8/10 (so far). We gave up nothing. The "principle" will be violated by the Dems, and we'll outvote them anyway.

Just like I predicted months ago, it's a win win for us.

BTW, one of the "gang of 14," Graham, was on Hannity talking like Attila the Hun: he said that the deal did NOT include USSC positions as "extraordinary circumstances." (As I said it would not).

Always take what they give you . . . THEN come back and take what you have to.
