Earlier today I predicted on another thread that after President Bush nominates a solid conservative, they'll now start saying, "Yeah, but he'll nominate a liberal next, so I'll never vote Republican again."

I do not agree with my husband probably 25% of the time. It doesn't mean I toss him out on his ear.
It also occurs to me that people should be grateful for what they have. Instead they are WHINERS, and I am sick of it. They are not allies, because unless youplacate them 100% they threaten to go off to a third party or stay home.
We are in a many faceted war, some of which is on the home front. It is worthless to have people second-guessing the leader; all they do is waste time and demoralize timid people. Grrrr. Glad you said something!

I just love the way the President has played the press. Who would have thought a supreme Court nominee would generate so much hoopla?

It is a pretty funny age, isn't it? My son will be 8 in Oct. and today I had four boys here between 7-8

Totally off the topic of SCOTUS -
One of the most Harrowing days of my Life was my son's 7th birthday party. I was totally unprepared for the energy and anarchy of a group of boys that age. I will never forget it! LOL!
