President Bush isn't going to back down from battles. How many times does this President have to prove he's conservative? I guess we have been let down so long by so many so-called conservatives that we always have doubts.
Like I've said before, GW means what he says, and he said he would nominate a judge who interprets not changes laws.
And like I've said before, GW has a pair...

This is a great pick. I didn't think he had a chance - too "new" - but it really is a brilliant move. It's all on Frist now. Dr. Bill needs to get real busy

Levin LOVES this guy! THANK YOU PRESIDENT BUSH!

We're watching it on TV. Hopefully, he's a strict Constitutionalist.
To: Slip18; Lazamataz
He's still here. Or maybe this is the night of the living dead.

Good appointment today apparently. High marks for that, no doubt.
But I have two pieces of legislation for you: campaign finance and prescription drugs.
I could label those "the no first amendment society" and the "entitlement society". Neither of those are defensible. I think perhaps you best think about those a bit first.
But...I am delighted that it appears that he has kept his word as of today on SC appointments.

FoxNews Rick Fullbaughm (sp) said Roberts doesn't have much of a paper trail/track record. What's already been posted on this thread is enough to cause NARAL to have spasms and explode.

Thank you, Mister President!

Idiots...North wasn't convicted of anything given his false "conviction" was overturned and, legally speaking, thus never happened.
But libs are idiots that believe lies while ignoring the truth.

Absolute dittos about your "narrow the commerce clause" comment.
That, and the "rights not enumerated belong to the states" are even MORE important than abortion, etc.
