TICK TOCK...............
LOL. Well, I guess they figure they gotta say something besides We don't know, either.
Which is why the rumor that Sheets has "passed" on the nominee was pure crap..
Just so wrong. If the basic right to life is out the window, the foundation crumbles - just as it is now.
How pray tell could a strict Constitutionalist not vote to overturn Roe v Wade?
.
Miss Slippy just brought the most deeeelicious steak, so later.
"President Bush's Liberty Doctrine IS visionary, and you will find that will be the controlling doctrine of the 21st Century. You have a lot of study to do if you don't comprehend how important this is. There is only one other policy in the nation's history that has been as controlling as the Liberty Doctrine will prove to be: the Monroe Doctrine."
That's fine, on all things foreign for purpose of today I agree. No argument here. That wasn't the issue. The question is whether he is a visionary on the domestic front.
I submit he is not. Or if he is, then he has precisely the wrong vision which, ironically, is a contraction of liberty. Even more ironically, the contraction of liberty that he participated in by signing McCain Feingold is of truly historic proportions. His creation of a new entitlement is truly inexcusable. I don't see how anyone can possibly dispute that and call themself a conservative.
Perhaps I should say...I hope he is not a visionary on the domestic front. I am chalking up his mistakes to ignorance. If he is a visionary, then he is not ignorant...he is much much worse (he's a liberal). I don't think that is the case.
Perhaps tonight he will kick some serious butt. I am delighted that it appears that Clement is NOT the nominee. We shall see.
I know you, and many of my FRiends agree with me. I will not get into argument about things like this with trolls and libertarians, etc., but will make a single post or even two to set the record straight when that is important.
Surely you jest.
I guess we'll see in a few hours.
Don't know about Rush, but I hear that Hugh Hewitt is doing an additional three hours at the end of his normal show. Supposedly, if you hear his regular show (on now), you'll hear the additional three hours.
The DUmmies and Reid can't be too happy about that.
Thanks. Didn't hear that. I've been busy and am trying to catch up.
I am glad you did it.
Donna Summer?
You heard that too?
I'm off to watch another rerun of CSI. I'll be back for the pre-game show later.
I had it first, post 1159, same reasoning! (yeah, I'm sure someone beat me on another thread but let 'em prove it!) Go, Fred, Go!!!
"There is only one other policy in the nation's history that has been as controlling as the Liberty Doctrine will prove to be: the Monroe Doctrine."
Incidentally if we want to discuss the history of us foreign policy, the liberty doctrine has a long way to go before it surpasses the Truman doctrine, let alone the Reagan doctrine. Perhaps you are right. But I would submit that it is a tad bit early to tell.
...well she DOES work hard for the money.
