TICK TOCK...............
I tell you what, its normally like an episode of The Beverly Hillbillies in that Luttig courtroom, what with Granny rocking away in the witness box between cases and the kids bringing frogs and such in to scare the lady jurists...
;-)
My "inside sources" are saying Clement.
I need to bail now though - the lightning is getting REAL close...
I'll be back...
A nice California red for many here on this thread, please..."Red" goes very well with crow..
Wasn't the original announcement scheduled for 1:15 ET today... and then moved to tonight?
LOL. I go out to run a few errands and come back to find it's not Clement any longer, it's Jones. No, it's Owen.
He'll keep us guessing right till the end.
That's a crime. Makes me feel like a tiny speck...like Mickey Rooney.
LOL!
Pass the peanuts!
bump for 9:00 PM Will it be Edith Jones or Priscilla Owen.
I'm betting on Luttig.
LOL
well said, PD..most excellent rant...
Seriously, I wouldn't be surprised if this is someone who is not on the charts at all. This should be interesting this evening!
We have some crazies on this thread going off on rants without knowing who the nominee is, and I'd be willing to bet that even the dumbest crazy on this thread isn't any less intelligent than BOX-O-ROX.
The 'Rats all have their research done and custom speeches ready for any of the convention wisdom choices they intend to oppose. I predict BOX-O-ROX will be shrieking while still broomborne this evening.
I'll take a Bloody Mary...to who's tending bar?
Nothing to do now but hope for good seed.
Unfortunately, war and military spending do not account for the increase in government spending. I would be fine with it if it did. But it doesn't.
but I follow the Senate and they are holding the line, things are going well believe it not. I know you don't but they are. You pessimism is not attractive.
Things are going well America. No doubt. But government has grown far to fast and gained more and more power and control over our lives than should ever be acceptable under a republican president, house, and senate.
This is a blast having a few hours of wild speculation before the big announcement. Unfortunatey, I'm throwing a barbeque for my friends in their late 20's/early 30's tonight, only one of which is not apolitical. They're going to think I'm the biggest politics nerd. I'll be glued to the TV/FR and not be the greatest host in the world.
it was a joke
FOFL!!!
