President Bush's legacy is hanging in the balance. It is totally in his hands.

I do not believe Bush is rushing to a meeting with Specter to choose a SCOTUS nomination

Maybe Bill or Hillary? Sell your property fast if either one is selected.

I don't trust ABC news,...but I hope this is not the administration trying to get this Rove stuff out of the headlines. I hope they do not nominate a "mainstream" candidate as a way of appeasing the RATS and the wolves in the "media".

We need a "Mormon seat" on the SCOTUS. How about Orin Hatch? The Mormons are a minority that are severely misrepresented at the Federal level, although the Fed Govt owns more than half the state of Utah.

I'm thinking this is a semantics game...the President is trying to co-opt the word "mainstream" and choose a conservative, indicating that that *is* mainstream.

It's either Luttig or Roberts. Any other guesses?
To: mysonsfuture
Tradesport is heavily betting it's going to be Edith Clement.

Didn't they just have a big state dinner with the PM of India tonight? Seems odd to pick a nominee after that.

Sounds like he's decided on a gun-grabbing RINO, but I hope not.

Don't cave, GW! You have it in your power to save thousands of unborn lives. If you throw them a sop your country and our culture will forever suffer for it. Besides, you could nominate Hillary and the libs would still hate your guts. Pray hard everybody.
