It's part of the plot. Control the schools, the media, the arts, psychiatry, the college newspapers.

I dread what the next generation of publicly educated persons will turn out to be.

I haven't found a labor union that isn't in this boat. There is a small uproar from a few major unions. Talk of leaving the AFL CIO. For the most part they are all on the same sheet of music.

I'm not sure what's worse the unions or the apathy of the conservative rank and file.

I always refer to this organization as the National Edukashun Association. Thank you for posting this article about the political subjects that the NEA thinks are more important than having students (and for that matter, teachers as well) who can read & write, and do simple math. LOL.

News like this is why I do not belong to the NEA. I belong to another organization. The benefits are that it's cheaper, and I don't have to be embarrassed by this kind of garbage.

I fear large parts of the education system in this country have turned into Liberal/Democrat propaganda machines using our childrens future as a front.

Guess this is tied in with the statistics that education majors have one of the lowest average SAT scores.

Thanks for the info. I taught in TX and did not belong to the union. It has done more to harm eduction (in my opinion) than any other single thing (altho ADA is probably a close second).
