And, THIS at the END of the article......like it's BAD for a prosecutor to want to pursue EVERY avenue with a vengeance.....

"I think Judith Miller is in much graver danger than she might be otherwise, because this prosecutor seems to want to pursue every avenue with a vengeance," said Mary Cheh, a professor of criminal law at George Washington University. "I'd be very worried."

It's becoming pretty clear that the only people who have something to fear from the law are Mr&Mrs Wilson, and that the only people who will be "frog marching" out of the White House are David Gregory and Tony Moran.

Too bad they won't end up in the hoosegow, 'cause those two little metrosexuals would make some pretty fine prison b*tches.

Judith was probably the link between Plame/Wilson and the editorial staff and publisher of the NY Slimes.

If she talked, she would have to admit that her friends Plame/Wilson created this bs story years ago. She mentioned it to her editors/publisher, and then the NY Slimes decided to run with it to try and electronically lynch GW.

What was Millers relationship with Plame/Wilson before this?

What was Miller's relationship with Foley, Plame's CIA boss before he suddenly retired after the Plame Game Gate broke?

What is the relationship between NY Senator Chuckie and Wilson and Miller before the sham story broke?

special prosecutor Patrick J. Fitzgerald may seek criminal contempt charges against New York Times reporter Judith Miller, a rare move that could significantly lengthen her time in jail.

Seek all you want. You will never get a name.

It's simple. There ain't no name. There ain't no source!

She works for the New York Times. It's what they do.

special prosecutor Patrick J. Fitzgerald may seek criminal contempt charges against New York Times reporter Judith Miller,

This will be interpreted by the Dems as meaning that even more evidence is accumulating against Rove.

Joe took the Islamicists' side,
When he wrote that the President lied
The Times spread the tale
Please keep them in jail
And, certainly, Joe should be fried.

If there is an issue of violating or breaching of National Security, it just seems that there must be something which merits a more severe sentence than another six months. Perhaps at this time, Miller should be considered a criminal suspect in a much more serious crime?

Someone needs to play hard ball on this thing because we will have the comPost and it's compatriots making silk purses out of sow's ears continually.

If the Republicans want any peace they need to deal with this with decisiveness. It is wasting millions of dollars and detracting from what is being done underneath.

If you read the story it's clear that Fitzgerald knows Miller talked to Libby sometime soon after Wilson's editorial appeared and before Novak's column. (It was probably on the day Wilson's editorial appeared, from other accounts.)

The article mentions two sources, one from Libby's and one from Miller's camp. The latter seems to be the source for the claim that Plame never came up in their talk.

So it looks like this is what it boils down to. Libby is saying he was told about Plame by Miller. And Miller is saying it isn't true (through her mouthpieces) but won't testify about that, so as not to have to reveal where she heard about Plame in the first place.

Not quite what the WaPost and NYT had in mind when they kicked over this rock. hehe
