I think the majority of Parents teach their children the dangers that lurk out there, by the time they reach age 18 they should have heard it again and again, BUT there's only so much you can tell them than there comes a time where they make their own choices. The Twitty's were forewarned that Aruba and C&C was NOT a safe place for a guy let alone a girl yet they allowed NH to go anyway with NO supervision. They had connections they should have used them to REALLY chaperone their daughter. So point being how large a role should a parent play to protect their children? Knowing what Beth did know from her stepson about that carlos and charlie place what would you have done if it were your daughter?
