Appreciate the kind words, and thanks for looking.
I like the links
"I really like this : That is a great line - after only being able to reach an English ex-boyfriend through texting this a.m. - his statement was similar:
"Hitler couldn't bomb us out so a bunch of 4th rate %*&*@@* scum have got no *&%!ing chance"
LOLFOF. The world is one big circus tent. I almost was choking on my dinner as I watched tonights coverage at PBS, haw haw haw, then turned to pretty boy Brian at NBC.....hah hah hah..........the serious looks on their faces.....ten reporters all covering the news out of London.
I'll tell ya pal, most of my time is spent in my basement on the PC, either here, sites we all frequent, or flying a F18 over parts of Iraq, in Operation Iraq Freedom bombing targets, or flying carrier ops with F18 out of the Persian Gulf in Microsoft Flight Simulator, F16 out of Andrews airforce base to protect or capital etc., or shooting Nazi's and other scum bags in Medal of Honor or Soldier of Fortune Double Helix, such as Iraqis in some of the episodes, yes I'm only 58.
Can't take staring at the L/MSM or most TV. But back to our dear cousins across the big pond. I hope 95% or more of the British become totally piss off and enraged over this latest display from the cult of peace and demand much tighter controls over who is allowed in their country. Maybe the lame brained Chirac and other G8 goofs might start to get the message. Surely they could start by asking the mayor of London what he know thinks of those wonderfull Immans that run the local terroroist groups in his city.
I'm just going to make a short statement to you on the terrible events that have happened in London earlier today. And I hope you understand that at the present time we're still trying to establish what has happened. There's a limit to what information I can give you. And I'll simply try and tell you the information as best I can at the moment.
It's reasonably clear there have been a series of terrorist attacks in London. There are, obviously, casualties, both people that have died and people seriously injured. And our thoughts and prayers, of course, are with the victims and their families.
It's my intention to leave the G8 within the next couple of hours and go down to London and get a report face to face with the police and the emergency services and the ministers that have been dealing with this, and then to return later this evening.
It is the will of all the leaders at the G8, however, that the meeting should continue in my absence, that we should continue to discuss the issues that we were going to discuss and reach the conclusions which we were going to reach.
Each of the countries around that table has some experience of the effects of terrorism. And all the leaders, as they will indicate a little bit later, share our complete resolution to defeat this terrorism.
It's particularly barbaric that this has happened on a day when people are meeting to try to help the problems of poverty in Africa and the long-term problems of climate change in the environment.
Just as it is reasonably clear that this is a terrorist attack, or a series of terrorist attacks, it's also reasonably clear that it is designed and aimed to coincide with the opening of the G8.
There will be time to talk later about this.
It's important, however, that those engaged in terrorism realize that our determination to defend our values and our way of life is greater than their determination to cause death and destruction to innocent people in a desire to impose extremism on the world.
Whatever they do, it is our determination that they will never succeed in destroying what we hold dear in this country and in other civilized nations throughout the world.
Thank you. -
Blair's G8 statement:
We condemn utterly these barbaric attacks. We send our profound condolences to the victims and their families.
All of our countries have suffered from the impact of terrorism. Those responsible have no respect for human life. We are united in our resolve to confront and defeat this terrorism that is not an attack on one nation but on all nations and on civilized people everywhere.
We will not allow violence to change our societies or our values, nor will we allow it to stop the work of this summit. We will continue our deliberations in the interests of a better world.
Here at this summit, the world's leaders are striving to combat world poverty and save and improve human life. The perpetrators of today's attacks are intent on destroying human life.
The terrorists will not succeed. Today's bombings will not weaken in any way our resolve to uphold the most deeply held principles of our societies and to defeat those who would impose their fanaticism and extremism on all of us.
We shall prevail and they shall not.
"Not sure of the percentage but even before 9/11 the English were disgusted with the loose control of immigrants allowed in as well as the benefits they received immediately upon entry - many times, a lot better than folks born and raised in England."
Well that is good news. Perhaps things will now change for the better. Shame the slime ball Chirac, he looks like a dead man, and some of the other European nations will not follow suit and start closing their borders. And America better get off it's ass and start tightning down much better to. The days of freedom of entering countries must change.
I have a friend living in Sarawak, a country on the Island of Borneo. No way does one just enter the country and roam about freely. This is the way Europe used to be. You did not just go over their and "hang around", like now is permitted. If you where picked up on a over extended Visa, that was it, you where deported.
Thank you both-- more to be added, soon.

The Work of Savages
A horrific scene outside the British Medical Association building: The whole of the front of the building was covered with blood.
A GP who helped treat casualties following todays bus explosion outside the London headquarters of the British Medical Association has described the scene.
Dr Laurence Buckman, from the BMAs GPs committee, said the front of BMA House in Tavistock Square was splattered with blood and body parts were strewn across the road.
The building was turned into a mini hospital while casualties were moved away from the road and were waiting to be taken to hospital.
Dr Buckman told SocietyGuardian.co.uk that he was on his way to a meeting at the BMA and arrived 10 minutes after the bus exploded outside the building.
He said: I arrived at the BMA just as the first ambulance arrived. My first impression was about the amount of blood. The whole of the front of the building was covered with blood - quite high up, I suspect that was because the upstairs of the bus had been blown off.
There was also a lot of smashed glass and metal everywhere, he said.
Dr Buckman said ambulance staff told him there were around 10 people dead in the blast. Two people died in the BMA courtyard as doctors tried to treat them.
