Several bloggers have drawn attention to a strange lead in a Washington Post story about the Terri Schiavo autopsy results. The June 16 Post story by David Brown said that "Terri Schiavo died of the effects of a profound and prolonged lack of oxygen to her brain on a day in 1990, but what caused that event isn't known and may never be, the physician who performed her autopsy said

If she was brain dead, she was dead, period. At least from what I've heard, the body shuts down quickly after brain death. Medical professionals in the audience, is this correct?
O' Reilly would be glad to mention the St. Pete Times again on air if he knew that they have a huge agenda re: protecting JUDGE GREER, ET AL. They're still doing it. The Times lost 11,000 readers. Wonder why? Maybe it's because O' Reilly's right about them.
She was so jumpy and had a police escort down the sidewalk. Quite different than the Pinellas Park PD treating the Schindlers, Suzanne and Bobby, etc. like they were a sleeper terrorist cell.
Despicable that they were denied admittance if Michael said no. Despicable that they were searched and beyond belief that they couldn't get near Terri because a police officer made them keep their distance.
Just some of the reasons why I am still at bat against the culture of death. Pinellas County is full of evil starting with the judges of the Sixth Circuit. Hillsborough Cty is learning from Pinellas. Look out Hillsborough County 13th Circuit.
That was to clear Fla AG Crist and Sheriff Everett of any culpability as they are both running for high offer in 2006. So, now Crist can make something up and so can Rice if asked about the Schiavo matter. They are part of the coverup and I hope Floridians see thru Crist and Rice as they try to lie their way into two top jobs.
TOM GALLAGHER FOR GOVERNOR, not Crist.
LOLL Mine is atkins type diet. We raise longhorn cattle and they are just about venison in the amount of cholestral in the meat. Lower than white meat chicken.
I agree. But, post-OJ's trial, how can McCabe get away with
McCabe is lazy.
If he thinks Michael's testimony is consistent, McCabe should be a good bloodhound and "nose around" for other suspects.
(Who knows what McCabe might learn if he doggedly questions people? :-)
Florida will not impanel a grand jury. The only help would be the feds. That's their job, and trolls like to say they are for "limited govt". Limited government doesn't mean that the feds shouldn't step in if states kill disabled Americans. They should step in. I think it would have to be the Congress. The US AG won't do anything but if the GOP wants to earn back their base, they better do something in D.C.
That Hurts that HINO and his associates defile the reputation. But LOL,LOL,LOL bet the HINO is having a grand time treating and nursing all of his buddies in the jail everyday.GOD is extracting the Real Justice in this case, and trusting that Mark Fuhrman is there for a reason.
When this was presented to JUDGE GREER in court, he said "Why didn't you bring this to me last week?" Dismissing it altogether. Blaming the attorneys.
This is why? Everyone thought that Terri was going to be rescued from Hospice. EVERYONE. When it became apparent that Terri had been abandoned by everyone, they informed the Court that Terri tried to speak. GREER DISMISSED THE EVIDENCE BECAUSE HE THOUGHT THEY WERE LATE WITH IT. It's a shell game they played - blaming the victims and their attorney.
I ask this question. Why did it take Judge Whittemore 12 hours after getting documents from the Congress and the President to have a hearing, then a second hearing and then he said "the tube's not going back in?" The Judges can do whatever they want and the people be damned and blame the victim strategy.
Judge Greer is manipulative and he is truly evil. He is criminally liable and we want him to be impeached.
I occasionally count up and get about a dozen different attempts Michael made to kill her. The (assumed) original assault, the refusal to treat her UTI, the "five" insulin injections, two (?) failed legal efforts to pull her feeding tube, two where the tube was put back, and the last one...
He inscribed "I kept my promise" on her brass memorial. If the promise was to kill her, -- and I'm pretty sure that was it, -- he did a slow and lousy job of it.
Good news. Thanks for posting it, FV.
I wish I could appoint you State Attorney of Pinellas-Pasco County. McCabe is being loyal to the RINO party here in Pinellas, that's all.
I agree. Deep down, McCabe probably agrees, too.
We need to shame Lazy Bones McCabe into widening his net so he'll do his job.
I believe that Whittemore didn't want to do anything so he wouldn't out greer. Same way with doctors. They never want to point a finger at a bad one lest one gets pointed back at them.
Yes. I loved Columbo. It's been a while...
but I think he used to question the (known to him) murderers about other "possible suspects" in order to get them to talk more freely.
As I said earlier (#992) and elsewhere...
There was no investigation. They said so. They didn't learn anything new. They said so. They called it off because they couldn't learn anything new. There were no findings. Not one new fact emerged. We even have McCabe reverting to the old "eating disorder" theory that the ME exploded.
Yet here we have all the liberals smiling and drawing grandiose conclusions from... from thin air. There were no findings to draw conclusions from.
We didn't learn one thing new in the case. Not one fact. The believers are all out preaching and jubilating that Michael has been exonerated even though the probe was called off because -- McCabe claimed -- it couldn't possibly learn anything at this late date. It is quite a spectacle, and very funny to watch.
McCabe is beyond shame. He's in politics, didn't you notice? That usually extirpates the conscience in short order.
Whittemore was charged by the US Congress and President to "start over". The de novo hearing would have taken Greer out of the equation completely. It was supposed to be about Terri but it always ended up being about protecting Judge Greer, Judge Baird, Judge Shames and Judge Demers and also the death attorneys.
How hard could it be to teach the doorman?
As stupid dumb-ass teenagers my brother and I used to do it to each other, until we realized how dangerous it could be.
