Whittemore was charged by the US Congress and President to "start over". The de novo hearing would have taken Greer out of the equation completely. It was supposed to be about Terri but it always ended up being about protecting Judge Greer, Judge Baird, Judge Shames and Judge Demers and also the death attorneys.
I agree, but what I don't understand is why someone didn't call him on it (someone like in Congress)
