The Island is 6 to 7 miles deep by about 20 miles long

B-1 = California Lighthouse - where the boys claim they took her first after leaving the Bar.

D-3 = #4 is the location of the 2 Marriott Hotels - where the 2 brothers (and now Joran) claim they dropped Joran and Natalee off after leaving the lighthouse -  the 2 brothers claim they went home to Hooiberg after that.

D-3 = #19 is the location of the Holiday Inn where Natalee was staying.

G-5 = Where the red #2 marker is pointing to is the area that the Carlos & Charlie Bar is located

D-4 = Township of Montana is where Joran lives

F-7/8 = Hooiberg (Haystack Mountain) - The 2 Kalpoe brothers live in this area at the foot of the Haystack Mountian.

C-9 = By the Natural Bridge on the map is the location where the sharks hang out as they are fed at this location. This is the Shark Infested Feeding Area.

E-3 = Wetland in the Bird Sanctuary is the location where they found the Condoms/Condom Wrappers - Duct Tape (looked like black electrical tape to me) - Female Flowered Panties - and a String or Strap from a Bikini or Halter Top.

It was the persistence of the parents that kept this bunch up all night. That kid lied about where he was when the father first phoned him. He wasn't at the spot he said he was gambling. This is the kind of evidence that the Prosecution has against this kid PLUS all the surveillance and cell records and computer hard drives. Plus a rather Large amount of LIES!!

I wish I had your confidence that the prosecution was really collecting all of this damning evidence against Joran. This entire mess stinks to high heaven of a cover-up. The Dutch are known to protect their own, and I believe that to be the case in this instance.

Exactly right. It's simply NOT possible. There absolutely WAS complicity in this crime. And I do NOT believe that Natalee is just hanging around somewhere waiting to be found. It's obvious she didn't live past May 30th. The biggest crime here is the long DELAY in getting going on the real suspects. They had ELEVEN days to get rid of things. A real search didn't start for a few days. The Aruban Police force and government don't appear to be able to organize a two man rush to the Sh*thouse!! (Sorry) but I'm MAD.!!

I'll give PVDS credit for inviting Greta and Beth into his house this past week.

Consider this scenario:
1. Anita had just returned and he told her they had nothing to do with it ...
2. Beth and Greta are out knocking and Anita hears the racket and sends Paulus out to let them in.
3. He hides behind the bushes hoping they'll leave and he can tell Anita they had already left
4. But they see him and he is too nervous to take that chance and plant any seeds of doubt in Anita's mind
5. He figures he can outplay them at this
6. Anita drops some info in the interview that leads to tips Beth off and leads to his arrest ...
7. Someone assigns a new judge to the case who promptly (almost on time) releases him ...

Well I'm not sure I'm as confident anymore except I did watch the spokeswoman from the Prosecutors office last night and she indicated that for each extension of time in prison that is granted, their office MUST produce more evidence than at the previous appearance. Remember they did do surveillance. My hope is that it started quite early like in the first few days. However, NOT seizing cars etc. is a concern. The car Natalee was riding in was apparently thoroughly cleaned.

It makes me sick to think they may walk, but that appears to be what the Arubans plan.

From the beginning of this I felt like every Aruban spokesperson, official and otherwise was putting on a great big 'dog and pony' show for us. They d/n want to know what happened especially since it looks like several of their own are involved. The claims of a relatively crime free island are the result of the ostrich theory of management.

There are no rivers on Aruba from what I could see on the various maps. Looks like the natives are trying to make one of their own--De-Nial.
