"I want more. I want impeachment!"
Me too. The rats will have to defend him, because obviously one of their senate votes is more important than anything else. So LET THEM DEFEND HIM. What can they say in his defense?

Thus my project, Allen and Ensign are the only ones so far to issue a statement, I am in the G's, Warner, McConnell, Matinez, Kyl and Sessions spoke on the floor very strongly, the rest so far nothing, and I am checking the Dems sites as well! We need, as a FReeper nation to not let this drop, I will continue to check the websites, Durbin at very least should lose his position as Whip, which would cost him 20 grand!

"Zell Miller - the *true* loyal opposition, without sarcasm or irony on my part. If the Democrats were all like him, we would all have fewer problems."
Right on. We would have fewer problems because the GOP would actually have some mainstream competition. The old media and the foundations that orbit it make the mainstream seem near-socialist. It's not. FRegards....

Well if the media keeps reporting this, you may see more Dems coming out, but one shouldn't hold their breath.

Their website should have the number of the LOCAL OFFICE where you can reach them. The local office is better.

I got a blah blah response from Corzine regarding his intention to remove some of the investigative tools in the Patriot Act.
He would never have answered if he wasn't coming home to run for Governor.
He made his announcement about the Patriot Act in the town of Paterson, home of al qaueda right here in NJ

The old media was testing us. They wanted to see how long they could keep this quiet. The more quickly the new media is able to mass communicate, the more powerful it is. It used to be that things could be buried permanently. Now that isn't possible.

I've emailed "Cantdo-anythingwell", and phoned "Osama-builds-daycare-centersMurray". In vain, no doubt, but I've done it.

I just heard this on Fox. The new tap by Bin Ass Assistant uses Gitmo in his rantings. Thank you Senator Turd. Senator Turd should have tattooed on each cheek of his butt, Aiding and Abetting to symbolize the Sh*t his is spewing.

I had a dear co-worker who was a red-head from Texas (Austin). I only talked to her on the phone and never got to meet her - but she was the sweetest person.

Yeah .. I'm leaning that way too. But .. with an election coming up next year for several high profile repubs - I'm sure they are hesitating getting involved - not wanting media bombs being thrown at them.

Yeah, the Republican Party will nominate an 80 year old lifelong Democrat at their 2008 convention. Makes sense to me. Whatever you're smoking it must be good.

There are not enough words of apology Durbin could make to people like yourselves IMO. However, the Republicans could right this wrong to a certain extent by at least censuring him. We're calling our Senators too (Texas Republicans), but I think its really ashame that all U.S. Senators don't call for censuring Durbin without having to be prompted with a constituent outcry. It especially irritates me that outrage is an emotion the Republican Senators don't seem to have.
