Greta was interviewing a friend of Joran's last night and he said the same "Many think she is alive". Greta SHOULD HAVE ASKED "Why do you think she's alive? Where does everyone believe she went?"

I am sorry, I am confused. It appears the American in Aruba is saying: the original 3 boys were arrested, then another named "Lorenzo," yesterday...and now another with the initials "SGC." That makes 5 arrested. Is this correct? FOX news is only reporting 4 arrested (obviously the U.S.media is out of the loop on this case). thanks.

It's my understanding that someone was taken in for questioning yesterday, but possibly not arrested. I'm assuming that's "Lorenzo."

Oh, Ok, thanks. Perhaps Lorenzo gave the info about "SGC." Wonder if he is someone important on the island they want to be protected by their govt., or a known druggie/criminal, whose identity would cause an uproar in the population or more fright for the parents. Why just the initials? The workings of the law in foreign countries makes any case like this so much more difficult.

I am hoping that she is still alive and this latest news makes me think she might be.

This 26 year old may be a drug dealer as I do not see a 26 year old hanging out with a 17 year old unless it is due to drugs.

Natalee may have been handed over to someone off the island as payment for a new supply of drugs or for payment on an old drug debt that this 26 year old had or that all 4 of them had. Chances are the 3 younger boys (put most likely just Joran) are this on the island street dealers, with the 26 year old being a main supplier on the island for the street dealers. The 26 year old probably gets the drugs smuggled in from outside of Aruba possibly by small boat that comes from a nearby island or country.
The 2 brothers might not even know this 26 year old personally. They might just know that this is where Joran gets the drugs to deal on the streets. The brothers may be telling the truth (now), but it could be that they kept quiet because of fear of who they are dealing with (drug dealers who could have these 3 killed in prison or their families killed on the streets).

I think Aruba knows that drug dealing plays a major part in this case.

The main drugs used on the island I heard were: Crack, Cocaine, and Weed.

On FOX they are saying that SGC is a 26-year-old person. No one knows the connection between this person and van der Sloot or the other two suspects. The detective who is a consultant for FOX has expressed his distrust of the Arubian govt. and, of course, Van der Sloot because of his record for lying about the two security guards.

That is the smart thing to do imho. Now if this was handled here, the O'Reilly's and Whoreraldo's of the media would have already spouted (reported, rumored)not only the name and info, but as well the personal business about the person of interest as well as the prson of interest family members and ancestors.

You expressed my fears, I just could not put it in words. From the beginning I worried Natalee was traded for something - for the sex trafficing, drugs, etc.

This is ever so unimportant in relation to the tragedy of this case, but it illustrates the mindset of this type. Years ago my little poodle was taken from my yard. He was gone for 8 days. The police were of no use. I plastered signs everywhere. One day I got a call from a girl who knew where my dog was. She related that he had been sold for $25.00 for "crack on the white line," (I didn't even know what that was.) She gave me the address, I called the police. She said to stay away from the area because it was dangerous, but she went there to see if the police came. They did - BUT - they just drove past the house, and back out the other end of the street. She stopped them and sent them back to the house where she knew the dog was. They went in, and sure enough, rescued my poor pup who was well chewed up by several other dogs in the house.

I found out she was a member of a family that had a serious gun-fighting feud the night before with the family of the boy who stole my dog. She was motivated to call me because she was exacting revenge, and it saved my dog. These people who live in the dark world where drugs are dealt are a dangerous bunch.

I suspect you are right as to why the boys have been quiet if your theory is correct.

These sorts of statements drive us nuts without media follow-up. Fox News just had on former Governor Frank Keating along with some sort of intelligence expert. Keating kept hammering home that the officials in Aruba haven't demonstrated a since of urgency in Natalee's case. He was really put out.

He and the intel expert both don't understand why the Arubian government haven't taken advantage of FBI help. Both said that it was ridiculous that these young guys haven't been properly questioned. Since Arubian police authorities don't have much experience in murder, kidnaps, forensics, etc., it's is very suspicious that they didn't turn over more control to our U.S. agencies that do. BIG MISTAKE!

Keating even said that he had it on good authority that the FBI was made to watch any interrogations through a glass partition and the Arubian authorities refused to even let the FBI give them any questions to ask the suspects. Someone on the program said it was glaringly obvious that the Arubian police are doing the best they can and they are frustrated too, but politicians have really messed this investigation up.

I think that the problem is more one of naievete than neglectful culpability. My husband did some busines in Curaco(the next island) some years back, and was warned by the shipping agent about staying close to his hotel and never taking a cab out of town after dark. It may be beautiful on those islands, but it's not the US.

It has to be drug related. Aruba knows they have a drug problem, but they keep quiet about that. Once the drug dealing part comes out in this case it will even look worse for Aruba.

I just hope they can recover her if she was handed over to pay for a new supply drugs and/or to pay off an old drug debt. They may not be able to find her as she was probably taken off the island the night she disappeared.

This 26 year old was on TV (face hidden) and he is not lily white. He is not related to Joran. He is most likely Joran drug dealer. 26 year old males don't hang out with 17 year old males. They may have contact but they don't hang out with each other.

Governor Frank Keating

Governor Frank Keating. If and when the truth is ever revealed regarding the Oklahoma Bombings then perhaps Keating will have room to comment on matters on the other side of the world.

As far as I can gather the Twitty's, the FBI, the American media individuals are not complaining. The complaintants are no where near Aruba and really do not know what is transpiring.

Everybody is yelling as if they are experts and as if we solved the Jessica Lunsford case, the BTK killer, the Son of Sam, the Washington snipers, and a multitude of other cases over night.
