Tito Lacle of Aruba Today is telling Fox News that the Van der Sloots parents are considered witnesses by Aruba LE. If Paulas was considered a suspect he would have been detained per Aruban law.

Steve Croes will be having a hearing tomorrow before 1 a.m.. He may be released that they do not have enough to hold him if I heard correctly. Did I?

They didn't detain the 3 guys originally, even though they must have suspected them enough to do surveillance on them. (or so LE says)

Yesterday the judge determined that there was enough evidence to continue holding Satish. So what happened between then and now to make the evidence go away? Why transfer Satish over to the prison at all if they are ging to release him for lack of evidence?

Van der lsoot says to the security guard that was jailed “that they left him at his house with natalee still in the car he exchanged emails with her and they took off (leaving JOran at home). The story is somethign that the 3 boys made up at home by the pool” adn now other kids also said that on monday Joran walked out into the woods by the school and stayed a while…maybe that was the 2 boys teling him about the “story”to tell?? and also here on aruba it is known that the cousins of the 2 Kalpoe boys are “dangerous” people who knows if they have soemthign to do with this?? They own a car rental here and they say they moved to aruba because they were bad in suriname and apparently they are moving form aruba to the US now

I suppose LE will wait a few months before troubling the family so they can check all the rental cars. LE doesn't want to go in there like cowboys, you know. /sarcasm

Joran walked out into the woods by the school and stayed a while…

I wonder if anyone checked the woods by the school? Wonder who the cousins are and I don't like seeing that they plan to come to the US!

Arubagirl, thanks for the info. I'm just repeating what I've heard in the hopes that the people here will find it helpful. Since McDonald's closes at 1 am, myabe he was at another fast food joint at 3 a.m. and maybe he was at McDonald's even though it was closed. I don't know. But this info was given to me by a family member and FWIW, the fact that father was out that late is why he is not being allowed to see his son in prison. His behavior that night is considered to be very suspicious.

His sources say they have moved already from where they were and they want to know exactly where they are going.
She asks who do you think is moving Natalie and is he saying that he thinks she is alive?
He says yes, of course. We are going in a group of 2 ladies, 3 gentlemen. One gentlemen knows a person who knows how to deal with drugs (not from Aruba) maybe from Venezuela or Columbia. The plan was to drive Natalee to columbia, but the latest news we have right now is that because the plan has failed 3 times already, they may try to reach Columbia before Venezuela.
She asked what kind of condition he thinks she is in.
He says that the police have their investigation going on, the press does too. We are going to all steps we can, we have put together a group to follow a car that we think are involved in this. We are working on a tip. Have not notified her family, we are working with the police

Happy Father's day

Natalee is a mystery until now. Yesterday night Mr. v/d Sloot has been asked to visit the polic station to give a statement. And it was repeated this morning for 2 hours, so that he could sign his statement made yesterday. He is not a suspect, but a 'witness' (=testigo).
He can give info on when his son came home, etc.

Volunteers are still looking for NH, definitely her family, but other people as well.

Today the interrogation of Joran v/d Sloot continues, he constantly under interrogation, and after certain days the boys will be taken to KIA, but if the police needs you for interrogation, you don't have to be send to KIA (KIA is main jail). They think Steve Croes is in Oranjestad.

Edmond says that as he understands it, the three (four?) don't HAVE to go to KIA after x number of days

I'd read where each time they go before the judge for a review (every 8 days? I think), the prosecuters have to show more evidence to back the reason to continue the detention up.

Does the McDonald's thing raise a red flag for you or not? I'm undecided. I think location might determine hours open. I would think that in a place that never sleeps, they might be open 24 hours.

His father might have been gambling and grabbed some food before going home. This one's a toss up to me.
