Why would they bring down all of this international attention on themselves, the News Media, the FBI, etc., by grabbing a high school-age girl from America in Aruba on a Senior Trip. Now I am not saying that isn't what happened, but I am just trying to understand what they could have been thinking. Is it possible they thought hardly anyone would notice, and that her family and America would just forget about her and go away? I don't get it.

It may be too late now for her captors to kill her, since there's so much surveillance going on. Hoping for that, anyway.

Their best bet is just to release her, and hope that whatever drugs they've been feeding her will have kept her mentally confused enough that she can't identify them. Maybe she's even been blindfolded all this time. Blindfolded and drugged.

I still think it was something that went wrong with Sloot and her. And the rest is blowing up because half of the damn island is involved with criminals.

You know if I were a big time gangster, I would raise my kids to not make a peep, sort of like preacher's kids. I think they tried initially to protect the Dutch kid, dad a judge and all, friends involved with criminals. And it didn't work because Nat's mom was there screamingn. So they have to decide,,get her back or serve up the Dutch kid to quiet it all down.
