Proposed Racetrack to bring closed circuit racing to Aruba
Plans are under way to construct a "super modern" racetrack at Seroe Colorado, on the Arubas picturesque southern tip. At a press conference held recently, the proposed plan was unveiled as a project that could positively enhance the economic development of Aruba in general and the area of San Nicolas in particular. With financial backing provided jointly through the Government of Aruba represented at the press conference by Minister of Sports Junior Croes and Glenbert Croes and the private sector represented by Mr. Carlo Mansur of the Aruba Motorsports Foundation Aruba plans to move full speed ahead in creating a venue which would draw major race events, along with thousands of race enthusiasts.
It was Mr. Mansur who had requested the help of Ralph Sanchez in creating for Aruba a racetrack similar to the one found in Homestead Miami, which currently hosts a Grand Prix event. According to Mansur, Aruba will present the world of motorsports, a racetrack that will be considered one of the best in the world, and certainly one of the best in the Caribbean and South American region.
Also present at the press conference was Brazils ex-Formula One Champion Emerson Fittipaldi, a two-time winner of both F1 events and the Indianapolis 500, who presented a signed racing helmet to Prime Minister Henny Eman.
The racetrack proposal is not free from controversy. In her popular Bati Bleki blurb, columnist Rona Coster blasted the project as a waste of 21 million dollars - the estimated cost for the proposed racetrack and facilities that are projected to be completed in 2000. Furthermore other people have voiced concerns over the possible negative impact on the environment of such a track.
Nonetheless, no time is being wasted before introducing the idea to the international sports media. Around 70 to 100 media reps from the U.S., South America and possibly Eurosport from Europe, will be in Aruba between September 14 and 16 for a presentation of the project.
Yeah, I know..............sometimes I read too much.......and know more than I want to.
They are reporting now that Sloot's (sic) daddy is being questioned and has been for 4 hours.
If the father was into drugs I wonder if it was indeed a suicide.
anybody has the number of her radio station? i would like to call her :0) anyway back to NH the important persone here, so is this true about finding her clothes in a house?
Who is Hubert?
I think I just read too much too.
*nightmares*
Natalee hidden in the basement of Lorenzo (VDS's half brother), then being moved around. Now, a decapated man found and another missing man. It is all going down.
I sure hope there are some boats and planes circling that island looking for boats leaving. etc.. Couldn't they shut down the harbors too, like we would here, just as an extra measure to stop boat traffic?
The reporter from Diario who dropped the bombshell on FOX.
I think you're right.
Hubert Teal is a reporter from Diario who was interviewed on Fox and said that Natalie was alive and being held alive maybe on the way to Colombia or Venezuela...developing
That's the first I've heard of her clothing being found.
Any corrobortion of that? Or only posted on SM?
That same area, colombia/venezuela border is where the two Casa Nostra guys have a big ranch with incredible security. The ones described in that long article I posted. They arfe key, money men and gangsters with connections all over the world.
Nat's mom is live on Fox and looks terrible. Poor eye contact, she looks bad to me.
If they are looking now for boats - it's too late. (I hope not)
They should have been stopping all boats same day she disappeared.
Joran's father was questioned for 4 hours by LE.
Did you notice what she said about the Dutch kid...Sloot?
Man, get a load of the date's car.
When I was 17, that car would have thrilled me.
The police in Aruba are at least two weeks behind where they should be!
They are playing catch up and arresting everybody now.
I thought a columbian necktie was a tire around the neck set on fire. I saw that on the Shield.
