Well no, you're ahead of me...I think those ribaat links may be an older incident.

"U.S. Helicopter Shot Down in Iraq"
Monday, June 27, 2005
NEWS BRIEF: "The U.S. military has confirmed to FOX News that an Apache helicopter (search) was shot down near Taji, Iraq. A smoke trail was seen before it slammed into the ground, killing the pilot, gunner and both passengers aboard."
Well my French is rusty, so I figured it was the same. I see you found a link though.
Thanks Cindy!
You're welcome.
I'm not sure this is the same helicopter as the current news story, though.
That is, regarding the ribaat link.
A very interesting chart, it is good to see all the threats
in a chart like this, with date and source.......
No googles tonight.
I wonder where he was headed also. A very important detail indeed . . .
Gertz was on the radio tonight, he seemed to think that China would go to war in 2 years or less. More than likely
it wills start in Tiwan.
This is part of a series that Gertz is doing on China.
Praying that you have a wonderful, safe trip.
I found a bit more info on this Amber Alert
An Amber Alert for two young children was canceled when police found them Saturday morning waiting to board a plane with their father, a soldier who had been treated for psychiatric problems after returning from Iraq.(snip)
Zahir flew into Cleveland on Friday evening and reunited with his wife and their sons, ages 3 months and 21 months. Zahir was behind the wheel of their car later that night when he asked his wife to get him something to drink, then drove off with the boys, Stacho said.(snip)
Zahir had purchased seats on a flight that was to depart for Baltimore-Washington International Airport about 40 minutes after he was detained, Stacho said.(snip)

I love your "Eurolefties" search term!
I did the google search your way (~grinning~) for West Nile Virus and *Iraq*:

Cindy,
Thanks for all the informative articles!
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has been elected by a landslide in a victory that stunned U.S. and other Western diplomats. On June 24, Ahmadinejad, the mayor of Teheran, defeated Hashemi Rafsanjani, a former president who headed the Expediency Council, the regime's watchdog over what had been a reformist-dominated parliament. The 49-year-old Ahmadinejad, who participated in the takeover of the U.S. embassy in Teheran, in 1979, was regarded as the most anti-Western of the presidential candidates.

I think the count-down clock has been started. This guy is also very anti-european negotiations on nukes, so that option has been ruled out.

Do you both have all these links?
Some of the links were posted up-thread, but I'm not sure if all of them were.
