I really hope that FR understands this was about McCain getting back at Bush and McCain getting an edge up on Frist.
For that reason, in public and on this board we need to give strong credit to Frist and we need to try to defeat McCain.
ABSOLUTELY! MCCAIN IS A TRAITOR! FRIST IS A GOOD MAN!

I've spent so much time at FR that I have to resist telling friends to "Ping me" instead of "Call me."

I am staying in his corner, until the bitter end.Me, too. We can't possibly know everything going on behind the scenes, but we have no alternative at the moment to supporting Frist's efforts to wins votes for all of the President's nominees.

The agreement has no bearing on anyone except the signatores. Those 14 are holding the entire Senate hostage to their agreement because neither party can get the votes to do what they want without them. It's a math thing, not a legal thing.

Sheesh! Are we the only ones on this thread that see it this way? No, of course not. It was even worse last night ;-O

This is where we come in. We can say whatever we want now, to hold these barstards feet to the fire, and we can target the RINOs wherever we can replace them in the primary. We can do everything but stay home and/or throw races to the rats to "punish" the republicans. That's actually the same kind of wishy-washyness they're showing up there now. No, what we can do is to slowly and inexorably keep driving the dagger in further and further until the Marxist/Leninist Liberals are driven from the political stage. It won't happen overnight. But the American people are on our side.
BTW. It wouldn't hurt to take over one of the MSM organs. Do you think it would be possible to target one for takeover by conservatives and then have us go out and buy up the stock no matter how high the price went? Then vote out the management and demand conservatives? Certainly we couldn't buy GE or Disney, or Time Warner, so NBC, ABC, and CNN are out. Viacom is probably also too big to capture. Are any of them small enough to catch? Maybe a Newspaper? Or are they all megaloplexes.

Chafee voted no? He voted yes every time she came up for cloture before. We need to get this guy out of the Republican Party.

Remember the saying...
LIKE FATHER LIKE SON! I don't trust any of those 7 right now and his son will probably follow in daddy's footsteps!! Dr. Dobson is also hoping mad over the compromise the backstabbing 7 did against the rest of the party!!
