Listening to Kennedy/Reid, they will continue to filibuster as that is their right.

And Frist will bring the Constitutional Nuclear Byrd football to the game, as is his right.

Mega dittos and last night I swore I was going to give myself a reprieve for awhile since it was creating ulcers and uncontrollable mood swings. So where was I bright and early this morning? As I am almost most mornings, getting heart burn listening to the BS from the other side.

Exactly where I am. My poor family. I made them miserable last night. They kept asking me whats wrong? All I could utter was, 'damned senate majority'. They left me to my mood.

One of the two wouldn't have gotten the votes from some of his colleagues? Well, isn't that lovely?

81 - 18.

ALL: can someone find and post the list?

The pact dealt the loss of 2-4 if not more. The pact stated this rules change would not happen this session even if Dems act in bad faith. No, I know what will happen and it isn't confirmation of All these Judges.

Let me repeat for the umpteenth time: Graham and Dewine (and maybe more) have said they will vote nuclear if the Dems run afoul of the MOU.

Ergo, 48+2+Cheney = Victory.

There are but 3 "hard" points that are clear violations of the MOU, and 1 of them has just been cleared. Once cloture is invoked for Brown and Pryor and the other 2 "hard" points are cleared, the RATs can obstruct all they want by claiming "extraordinary" circumstances.

Sen. Rick Santorum.. Senator from PA (and I did support him until he supported Specter over Tooney, even if Tooney was a real conservative.

Here's hoping that Cheney is dropping F-bombs in the appropriate offices.

He is a hard hard man.

I have a good line for this, but in the interest of politeness I will just leave it alone and simply say I LOVE DICK CHENEY!

After all this 81% voted for cloture? The rats are going to have a very difficult time invoking another judge filibuster. They had less than half of what they needed.

They're in recess until 2:15, then there may be up to 30 hours of debate before a final vote.

They'll use every last one of those 30 hours, and probably make many attempts to delay the final vote beyond that. They'll want MoveOn and Larry Flynt to have plenty of time to smear Owens and try to get a some of the RINOs to vote No on the final vote.

Unless of course they already have enough RINO votes to kill the nomination in a straight up and down vote. Nothing in the deal stated that the RINOs would actually vote Yea on the nomination. If that's the case the vote will be taken at once.
