LIVE: WA State Governor election-fraud trial begins
TVW (WA public affairs cable) ^ | May 23, 2005 | Hank Rearden

Posted on 05/23/2005 9:58:24 AM PDT by Hank Rearden

The trial to determine whether Christine Gregoire stole the governor's election last November began today at 9am Pacific time.

(I can save everyone a lot of time . . . SHE DID! . . . . but for some reason the lawyers insist on playing their silly games.

My link is to TVW (essentially local C-SPAN), which is broadcasting the trial live on regional cable, and streaming on their website. More coverage is available here on NWCN as well.

This is a landmark trial, as it looks to expose massive 'Rat corruption and voter fraud.

I've read that Governor (Elected) Rossi said he'd rather have a "re-vote" than be declared the winner outright. Having seen some of the predictably laudatory press on Gregoire emanating from the Washington State version of the MSM, however, I think that Mr. Rossi would be better served to take the job so that he would enjoy the benefits of incumbency in the next election.

The real keeper in democrat arguments so far is that the software used to track and tabulate was bought from a company owned by republicans!

I haven't seen any allegations of software failure - how hard can it be to add up numbers?

I'll join you with that bottle!

Regarding the software, I heard this morning that it is the same software used by several other counties and that those counties had none of the problems that King County had in reconciling votes.

Things that make you go hmmmmmmm..........

I believe the King County absentee ballot person who lied on the form she filed certifying the ballot count said that there was no way with the software to account for absentees sent, recieved, verified and counted. If that is true, what kind of election software is it?

Did I understand correctly that the Dem's are trying to say that the issue of the falsified absentee ballot report cannot be admitted into evidence because that was not brought up in the beginning?

I don't know; I didn't catch a statement like that, but might have missed it.

That's what he was claiming, but the depositions of the individuals that conclusively revealed the fraud were conducted just last week. The democrat argument to keep that issue out of the trial is laughable and the judge will rule against the Democrats.

I had heard that the Repubs were NOT going to try and raise the idea of fraud, the Demo lawyer alluded to that in his opening statement. I think Nichole Way's testimony changed that scenario last week, so I was a bit surprised when they started talking fraud.

The Demo's argument is that for an "illegal" vote to be illegal a voter registered in a book who actually voted for Governor must be proven. If this is the case I cannot see how this is possible, surely the judge will not require that level of proof?

Did the judge just say that, at this point, alleged fraud is not a component of this case?

I'm trying to figure that out myself. If I'm hearing correctly, they are saying that fraud uncovered during discovery can't be part of the case if it wasn't alleged at the outset of the case??!!!?
