I am, too. As far as I'm concerned, what these backbiters are doing is making a liar out of every single Republican speaking on the floor of the Senate.
They are usurping the POWER given to each senator.

Compromise is usually just another word for LOSE-LOSE. When the RINO's are involved it is another word for REPUBLICANS LOSE!
To: Howlin
Super post ... We know the real reason Schumer want's to stop these judges...

what about
...
to amend the Senate rules, in which case the necessary affirmative vote shall be two-thirds of the Senators present and voting --
...
don't you get? I get that part. I hold that it doesn't necessarily apply. It certainly does not apply if no rule change is sought.

I was merely pointing out that Kristol's prognostication, even if true, does not deny that which you seek.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the RATS start voting for cloture and allow candidates to be voted-on one-by-one.I think that will happen. The 'rats want to have at it for a Supreme Court battle. I also think a good strategy is for the President to nominate a solid well respected conservative and let the 'rats filibuster for a couple of months and let them pay a political price before nuking them.

The senators seen going in and out of those sessions during the day included Republicans
Graham of South Carolina,
John Warner of Virginia,
John McCain of Arizona,
Susan Collins of Maine,
Mike DeWine of Ohio,
Lisa Murkowski of Alaska

It certainly has been a roller coaster ride, like election 2000.
THAT came out ok, I pray that this will, as well.

One of that list is my senator (Graham)...and he has heard from me OVER AND OVER AND OVER again! I see what good it is doing, though...he has proven very disappointing.
