I just read a post on conservative blog that stated few freepers were veterans (implication was that we were chicken hawks). Having conversed with many of you and met a few, I do not believe that is the case. But it did get me wondering, who among us is active or prior service veterans? Awright you freeper vets SOUND OFF!

Hey TRG! Can you stream your show? Would like to hear it. Just don't want to go to Korea.
You're more appreciated than you know.

...few freepers were veterans...
Blogger who knows not what they're talking about.
Don't forget that the lurker veterans count too, even if they don't sound off.

Is this list to fill the shortages of enlistments? Sorry but I'm all busted up now. I'm way over the weight limits, and have a bad back and a sorta bad knee, but if they want me, I'll go. I am still on the retired reserve list, and I could do my old job(s) just as well today as I could then. Meanwhile I've got things I built/designed, flying F-16s and F15E's, training Weapons Controlers, and am now on post support for an Army organization.

Was Micky's still around in 83-85? Sure was. They had some pretty good bands there. There was a VFW (american) on the south side of town that had country bands. The metropol was the real stab and jab. Saw my share of combat there.

No we can't :( With the shrinking budgets for anything other than combat ops AFB/ABS doesn't ahve the money to stream the networks.
I'm working on a way to get some of my shows sent out to a couple people for download though.

I listen to radio through the day. Once was my job when I was overseas.
When we launched in the morning, early, we'd tune into AFVN radio for about 10 minutes before arriving on station. We looked forward to "Goooooooooooood Morning Viet Nam!" by ...you know who. Joe Moore, another AFVN broadcaster is here, working for FOX in Honolulu; news anchorman.
Friendly voices.
I'll be glad to hear you too!
