There is an internet vandal who defaces Free Republic with very gross pictures (homosexual sex and stuff from rotton.com) as well as posting "ALL YOU F***** N*****S & JEWS SHOULD BE LYNCHED".
He pings a variety of people to his post, ensuring that the trash is still in their My Posts lists.
To me, this isn't the milder form of harassment that Eschoir engaged in so many years ago. The very worst he would do is ask if you ever committed sodomy, and he once used the screen name "Paula Jones Tw*t". This is mild.
What this sick piece of work is doing is much more egregious. I believe it crosses the line into criminal defacement and restraint of trade. Are there any Free Republic lawyers (especially prosecutors) who can address this issue, and are there any private detectives with internet savvy that will help track the identity of this person down?
I call you a disgrace for your comment. You obviously didn't see these photos.

This is a private website with rules that govern conduct. The TubGirl poster has no more "right" to post here than that he govern himself according to the rules established by the site's owner. If he doesn't like that, he's welcome to start his own website.
The first amendment only protects him in the notion of whether he can be prohibited from saying what he wants -- not WHERE he wants to say it.
If I don't let you speak on my soapbox, I'm not violating your first amendment rights -- you certainly have the option of setting up your own soapbox.
Ha! You'd be surprised.
Even if the creep isn't prosecuted, it will be identified, made to show up in court and bear legal expenses. Though I think it's time to take a close look at state laws in which the creep resides and see exactly what is or isn't prosecutable.
are there any lawyers or internet detectives on the libertarian ping list
Not hard to do, but also not hard to catch, providing they are using the same IP address.
I kinda like my (much more mild) zotted posts showing up in my ping lists, though, and so do those I've posted to (so they said by freepmail).
Perhaps we should have two levels of post deletion: Zot, and Delete. Zot makes the post go away in every arena, including the ping-lists. Delete just kills the public publishing but keeps the posts in the ping-lists.
Vel: He posted to TM this morning. I usually check in to TM first thing in the a.m. and saw that vile photo. It was very upsetting.
"I'd hate to think that any Freeper would stoop to such stuff, though.
Ha! You'd be surprised. "
he has used several different screnames he gets on and posts the same pics and comments every other day and has for about a month he had used the name judenih8 before today its james54 the 54 being his iq if you add 50 points
I did not know that. I can't imagine how it could be done, either, but that's too far afield for this thread, I think, so I'll learn about it elsewhere.
I would wager that this activity would constitute a violation of his own ISP's Terms of Service; Identifying his ISP and presenting this to them would most likely result in the removal of his access privledges.

I just saw the images as I was scrolling through forums at the site. I don't get this delivered to my email account. And it was not any ping list I belong to.
He changes username each day he shows up. The /ignore feature wouldn't work in this instance.
Unfortunately, I saw it on the TM thread and on another thread. Taking Tums now to calm the upset stomach. Yuck!
More power to you Laz! This creep needs to be tracked down and prosecuted.
Excellent point.
That's a job for a .410 bore Mossberg.
