It's only a small room in JimRob's house where we can get to know one another a little better; salute and support our military and our leaders; pray for those in need; and congratulate those deserving. We strive to keep our threads entertaining, fun, and pleasing to look at, and often have guest writers contribute an essay or a profile of another FReeper.

Thank you you all for your notes & for the prayers of FRiends to come later when I wont be here... she has led a good life & I know it is difficult to know how to pray. other than for peace for all with God's will.... I am off shortly..but wanted to share a pix from yesterday. I think I mentioned either here or at Amy's (at my advancing age it all gets fuzzy) that we had dinner & "got into it" over Terry. My one aunt lives in Pinellas Park not far from the hospice where Terry's battle was fought.

In the Pix it is ironic that the two conservatives.. my aunt & uncle from NY are on MY RIGHT and the libs on MY LEFT!.

my aunt Dotty who had the stroke is immediately to the right (for those that don't "know " me, I am in the middle.

Maggie, thank you for the sad story.. you are always so dear to share from your heart.. Ride I surely will remember your son.. Pippin Do we need to get you some new armor? I was at one of "those threads" the other day & find myself getting too upset. I stick mostly with Finest, Amy's, and the Dose now... HUGS TO ALL

Good morning and afternoon to all the Finest on this Friday.

Wishing Miss LadyX a most Happy Birthday tomorrow ... ))))))))

I want to introduce you all to a new friend ... Mickey, my parent's new dog.

Their old and faithful hound dog, Barkley, made his journey to the Rainbow Bridge, a week before our journey to Ireland ... he'd gotten to where he couldn't walk anymore ... now, he's bouncing around chasing butterflies and tennis balls in Heaven.

The week after we got back from Ireland, a burglar sneaked through the doggie door and ransacked the house ... so, my brother gave Mom and Dad one of his labs.

Mickey is King of the Belly Rubs. He's a sweetheart. When I was home last week, we had good bonding time ... and he greeted me every morning with joy and his chew pillow in his mouth, ready to play.

We're buddies now.

Mickey is a handsome Lab. I am not in the least bit prejudiced you understand, but it is a fact that Labrador Retrievers are the BEST, SMARTEST, and MOST LOYAL dogs. And the Yellow ones are my favorite of the breed. Your parents will have a wonderful companion in Mickey for years to come.

Thank you for taking us on your trip to Ireland. Your photos are beautiful, and they are beautifully presented. I feel as if I have been there. One thing is for sure, I have got to go to Ireland someday. No doubt it will feel familiar - like home to me.

Seeing as how it is my 37th wedding anniversary today, I must take exception to one of your comments however...."Folsom Prison Blues....my own personal favorite wedding song". LOL!!! You are funny. :-)
