Tonight President Bush held a Press Conference at the White House where he spoke about the high cost of energy and his plans for a long range plan to address our future energy needs. The President also spoke about the urgent need to address the looming funding crisis within Social Security. He laid out some specifics on how to address the problems and his plan to privatize a portion of the system to allow all of to become owners of our assets rather than the Government

They are lovely photos aren't they I just love the way he looks at her so deep into her eyes like only a true loving and faithful husband can.
Emotionally he is laying himself bare to her as he makes no attempt to divert his eyes as he looks deep into hers and likewise she looks straight back at him.
It is something that you see GWB and Laura do as well. I am always suspicious of people who cannot look you totally in the eye and keep the contact Bill Clinton was a prime example of this.

I need to follow this advice as well!

Hello my little hobbit I probably do as well as I currently have a debate going on over on the live thread from last night regarding Tony Blair lying to the British public I am quite expecting to get flamed for this one tarred as well probably. My Conservative with capital C roots are showing here and I cannot let it go when Blair is spoken about in the same light as GWB.
So I fully know where you are coming from but sometimes one just has to say things.

yes, these two couples show the world what true love is. It's like having our very own living romance novel.

Hello, Snugs :) Sorry I missed you this morning.
Here's the latest news about Zell Miller. Looks like he's on the mend, thank goodness.

I love the sentiments you expressed here, Snugs. George & Laura's marriage is what I hope to have in marriage someday (if I ever get married, that is). ;)
About looking people in the eye...I agree sometimes it means the person is shifty if they can't hold eye contact (like Clinton), but on the other hand, I have a hard time looking into most men's eyes because I've been badly hurt by men thus far into my life, especially my dad. :/ I'm sure with time and God's help, I'll get over it someday though.

I believe that he was listening to the question from the Washington Post reporter.
Pres. Bush had a scowl on his face when, finally, he was forced to call on that reporter. When he uttered his name, his voice was barely audible.

I think you are correct. I tried to pinpoint where that expression was made and I believe it was when he was dealing with David Gregory
