Tonight President Bush held a Press Conference at the White House where he spoke about the high cost of energy and his plans for a long range plan to address our future energy needs. The President also spoke about the urgent need to address the looming funding crisis within Social Security. He laid out some specifics on how to address the problems and his plan to privatize a portion of the system to allow all of to become owners of our assets rather than the Government
Shepard Smith makes me laugh when he is amused, too!
I also like the end of Brit Hume's show, when they show something funny at the end. One I really liked was the SNL skit where they were talking about running Hillary in 2008, and the statement was something like..."proving once again that the democrats are going to get their @sses handed to them again in the next Presidential Election!" Brit got a kick out of that one.
I have to go back and catch up with yesterday's thread. I didn't get a chance to today. Busy day. I even had to miss Bush's press conf. Only got to hear part of it on the radio. :(
I do try to make sure I see Brit's show. Especially his roundtable and of course, the funny at the end. Republicans have the best sense of humor!
Some days are like that
Just got home.....Called Dad ....."Dad's first comment..DId you hear the Press conference..."W" blew em out of the ball park"
.....Guess I'd better go see if c-span has it listed yet!
May not make it back....Have a good evening!
That's what my dad said too.....Thanks for the pictures, now I'm out of here.
If you find out when it will be replayed on C-Span, can you let me know? I looked on the web site but don't see anything. Thanks.
Put of Fox
Put of Fox = Put On Fox
Hey, it looked to me as if the citizens have convinced the San diego city council to hold an election for mayor and not just appoint somebody.
GWB has one of the most expressive faces I've ever seen. Every picture is different! I love them all.
You are right! He is very expressive--and very photogenic. :)
Good night snugs. Thanks for providing the "sweet dreams" for us! :)
hold an election for mayor and not just appoint somebody.
Yes, much better that way.
Did you hear Rick Roberts early am.
He played again his call with Ron N. Repo. Head.
He and the org. don't get it. and I love the way
Rick mocks them. Someone has to wake them up.
This country club mentality has to stop, especially
if we are to beat leather face.
I heard him yesterday. I can't believe the Republicans here aren't jumping on this...pr wise. He just like it was all just a walk in the park. IMO. Don't know if I have the right take on it though.
Don't know if I have the right take on it though.
No, you got it ok. I called them more than a few times
and e-mails during the prez election re some issues.
They cater to the burbs and have written off the city.
Well now, I dare say that's me! I think they need to know that what happens in the city affects us out here. Time for me to get on the horn.
I hate to say this about Zell, but doesn't that whole scenario sound like what happened to Hil-liar? Getting sick in the midle of a speech with flu-like symptoms? Is it the DNC flu? If it is, I don't want to catch it!
Ha! I hope not.
One difference though: I believe Zell's collapse was real, but Hillary's was staged. (Don't look at me like that! I wouldn't put anything past her :)
