Tonight President Bush held a Press Conference at the White House where he spoke about the high cost of energy and his plans for a long range plan to address our future energy needs. The President also spoke about the urgent need to address the looming funding crisis within Social Security. He laid out some specifics on how to address the problems and his plan to privatize a portion of the system to allow all of to become owners of our assets rather than the Government

What a great first picture! I think he was looking at David Gregory...:)

I just love GWB. We don't watch much t.v. at all, and don't have cable, so it was a treat for me to be at the wellness center on the treadmill tonight during the press conference. He is so smart, and doesn't suffer fools. I don't know how he does those press conferences--I think partly because he is very sure of himself, and he is very principled---he is able to take those inflammatory questions and not blow-up. I thought he was wonderful tonight!
