He'll go to the U.S. Army Disciplinary Barracks at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, where he will rot on death row like the rest of the ones on death row. There are soldiers who were tried, convicted to be executed back in the late 1980s and early 1990s when I was still working in the Army JAG criminal law offices, and they still have not been executed. They probably never will.

Only problem with the reporting of this is he is no longer a Sargent. When a person is taken into military custody their rank is stripped. At least from what I remember... During sentencing they will "officially" reduce him in rank but there is no rank among prisoners.

Guess they didn't buy into the Army is filled with racists excuse. How long until a Federal Court of Appeal overturns it?

My guess is if he is sentenced to death it will be by lethal injection.

The jury didn't think so lol.

The military has not executed anyone since 1961.
And the last to be executed during Wartime was Eddie Slovik in 1945.

Well, dear ole Congress writes the UCMJ, not the military. The military mainly follows federal law and military case law. Executing the scum requires the PRESIDENT of the USofA to sign off on it as Commander In Chief. Why they have not executed these scumbags is beyond me, but they are still out on death row at Fort Leavenworth (not to be confused with the federal pen which is also out there, these are two different places).
