I have not been able to find anything on this on websites, but did anyone listen to Glenn Beck today?
He called out Columbus Mayor Mike Coleman for the handling of the horrible incident at Mifflin High School in Columbus. Coleman, was committed to go on the air with Beck but he stiffed him and then Beck had a guy pretending he was Coleman call in. This part was hilarious. Coleman finally called in at the end and you could tell he was livid. Coleman was evading answers and Beck had a tough time getting questions past Coleman's interruptions. Beck tried to ask him how he felt about this incident as a man and a father. Coleman said "Don't question my manhood!" Absolutely unbelievable! If anyone has found a website that has this, please respond. This mayor wants to become Governor of Ohio and if today is any indication of how he would handle things, this guy has no business being governor and he embarrassed himself on national radio.
Glenn has been on fire lately. :D I enjoy his show. Anyone heard anything about Rusty Humphries? He's in Iraq right now.... Wondering how he is doing.

I wish I could have heard they took Beck off 1100 and put Jerry Springer on. So I have nothing to listen to until Rush at noon.

I heard it, too. I bet Glenn will play the interview again tomorrow. The mayor's comments were disgraceful-of course the oldie, that he cannot comment on an ongoing investigation, he's responsible for police, not school system, putting his own children in catholic school so they could have religious training, and the don't question my manhood was unbelievable!

At a Columbus, Ohio high school, a 16-year-old disabled girl was dragged to the auditorium stage, "punched and forced to perform oral sex on at least two boys," as students watched and one videotaped her humiliation.
Mifflin High School officials who found her bleeding from the mouth did not call police, and an assistant principal cautioned the girl's father against calling 911 because the media might get involved, according to statements from school officials obtained by The Columbus Dispatch.
The girls' father ignored the advice and called the police. In the statements, which have students names blacked out, one student said the boys told the victim: "If you scream, I'll have all my boys punch you."
Someone then "punched her in the face and she dropped to her knees," the witness said. One witness looked for a security guard during the assault, but found no one. When the attackers ran away, several students helped the girl get dressed and took her to a guard.
The Columbus School Board has fired the principal and suspended three assistant principals for failure to call the police. Four boys are being investigated for the assault.
In a nutshell, a group of boys caught a disabled girl in the school auditorium, and then stripped and gang-raped her. The school responded by refusing to punish the rapists and not bothering to tell the girl's parents that their daughter had been raped! Of course, the story got out anyway, and the school, the teacher's union and all the corrupt local politicians are in full CYA mode. They supposedly fired the principal (read, took him out of that school so he can be reassigned), suspeneded three other people (read, gave them ten days paid vacation each) and decided that they would take the bold step of showing the students a sexual harrassment video to make sure this never happens again.
Mayor said police are stationed at school-didn't say if this was a recent action, or if police have been at school for some time...

Sorry, I was wrong about the rape - they just made her perfrom oral sex on them. That must be why the school was so uncaring about the incident - it's not like they made her have sex or anything </is the sarcasm tag really necessary?>
I'm perplexed as to how the mayor has to be connected to this. From these briefs, it seems a stretch.
The guy pretending to be Coleman was Beck's producer, Stu. Stu isn't his actual name but for some reason Beck began calling him Stu and it stuck.
