(or whatever) And I hear Ross will be running again, just to screw the Repubs, and McLame will be her VP running mate, and all males will vote for her because they want a female [?] to be president, and the women will vote for her because they envy her so much, and ... ;)

How true...in the absence of a Ross Perot, GHW Bush would have won in '92 and Billy would still be in Arkansas. Additionally, women voters will not buy Hillary like the liberals think they will. Women want a strong man for the leader, especially in the age of Terror.
She's got everything she needs.

True, I don't see any "conservative"(and I use that word loosely) third party candidate running in '08 except maybe for McCain. He'll be older than Ronaldus Magnus was in 1980, but his ego might get the better of him, and he loves the spotlight. But I don't think it'll happen because I believe he's already said this is his last term in the Senate.
However, the GOP shouldn't underestimate The Wicked Witch of the West Wing. The MSM nearly installed two very bad candidates, Algore and then the Ketchup Boy, in the Oval Office. Their influence is declining, but you can bet they'll go all out for Hitlery. Given that, and the fact that the radical left knows she's only moving to the center for show, she could fool enough moderates into voting her in.
Bottom line, the GOP better have a good candidate ready in 2008.
I would think the wheels are well greased and turning as we speak. ;)

Well, you know, the woman is, you know, a dreadful public speaker. And her voice is irritating. And her 'likeability quotient' is low. Bubba', at least, is likeable on some level. I have always thought that she was overestimated but then, my sounding post is as a member of the VRWC so what do I know.
Well now I'm definitely not going to! :-P
Right now, I've got George Allen at the top of my tote board. A milquetoast candidate like Bill Frist or George Pataki won't cut it.

It is much too early for me to get worked up over this 2008 run, mainly because I have just gotten back in decent shape after the 2004 side show.
With little thought, other than for self self aggrandizement purposes, I would like nothing more than to see Condoleeza Rice, not only run, but beat the living %#*@ out of the Dims.
It would serve two most delicious purposes.
1) The Republic would be well served.
And 2) The race relations in this country would be dramatically improved. The Thomas Sowell's, Walter Williams's and Clarence Thomas's of this world would be listened to more, while the Jacksons, Sharptons and Mfume's would be forced back under the rocks they crawled from.
Another example of poor calculation is her decision to moderate herself on abortion. Perhaps Hillary thought that this would be a grand "Nixon goes to China" moment. The misjudgment in that calculation is that Nixon was already president
Hillary has always acted like she is the president.
The Clintons are politically astute, that is a fact however, they are also anti-republic and anti-American and that is a FACT. Hillary will not continue the War on Terrorism nor will she think America First or America at all. Her record is one of “we’ll fix that” then follow up her promises and nothing is ever done. It is all rhetoric propped up by the NYT and other liberal/socialist publications, there is NO substance in that pant suit.
I'd like Condi too, but unless she learns how to hit the hustings, I don't see it happening. Who knows? Maybe Cheyney will resign for "health" reasons in the next year or so, but if he doesn't, I'm taking that as an indicator that Condi's not running.
Newt can beat Hillary, I think. He is fiery and knows how to fight. No time for a Nice Guy.
