It is much too early for me to get worked up over this 2008 run, mainly because I have just gotten back in decent shape after the 2004 side show.
With little thought, other than for self self aggrandizement purposes, I would like nothing more than to see Condoleeza Rice, not only run, but beat the living %#*@ out of the Dims.
It would serve two most delicious purposes.
1) The Republic would be well served.
And 2) The race relations in this country would be dramatically improved. The Thomas Sowell's, Walter Williams's and Clarence Thomas's of this world would be listened to more, while the Jacksons, Sharptons and Mfume's would be forced back under the rocks they crawled from.
I'd like Condi too, but unless she learns how to hit the hustings, I don't see it happening. Who knows? Maybe Cheyney will resign for "health" reasons in the next year or so, but if he doesn't, I'm taking that as an indicator that Condi's not running.
