COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A 16-year-old disabled girl was punched and forced to engage in videotaped sexual acts with several boys in a high school auditorium as dozens of students watched, according to witnesses.
Authorities are investigating and no charges have been filed in the alleged attack last month at Mifflin High School. Four boys suspected of involvement were sent home and have not returned to class.
Also, the principal, Regina Crenshaw, was suspended and will be fired for not calling police, school officials said. And three assistant principals were suspended and will be reassigned to other schools.
Crenshaw had no comment Tuesday.
The girl was forced to perform oral sex on at least two boys, according to statements from school officials, obtained by The Columbus Dispatch.
Part of the alleged assault was videotaped by a student who had a camera for a school project.
School officials found the girl bleeding from the mouth. An assistant principal cautioned the girl's father against calling 911 to avoid media attention, the statements said. The girl's father called police.
Her father said the girl is developmentally disabled. A special education teacher said the teen has a severe speech impediment.

Actually, wouldn't it be a hate crime because they picked on a disabled person?
I thought it might mean something.
would any of the bigots in this thread feel better to know that the victim was black?
Beautiful
To each and every liberal/leftist lie......
Absolutely
Urban thugga punk culture....you know...the kind MTV celebrates.
Since skool officials attempted to cover up the crime, doesn't that make them accomplices in child molestation, kiddie porn, assault on a child and gang rape?
Bet they won't be charged as such. If they're eaven charged.
"I wonder what the real story is."
There sure is a lot unsaid. Was this during school hours? If it was, why were dozens of kids left unattended in the auditorium? If not during school hours, I still want to know why dozens of kids were left unattended in the auditorium? (I hate to think there was adult supervision while this went on.)
If this girl was so mentally disabled, why was she left without adult supervision, anytime, or anyplace?
The fact that dozens of kids let this happened is real frightening.
Our society of sexualized media, relativism, radical secularism, and dehumanization of the weakest is reaping its natural rewards.
Of course, the academics and media elites will keep telling us that religious fundamentalists are still our biggest problem.

You reckon?
Same ol same ol.
I pity anyone in an urban area who is not a minority and cannot afford private school. In the south in urban areas, it is plain dangerous to be white in urban public high school....sorta like jail....unless one is a serious white trash wannabee with street cred (plenty of that in nashville...like a plague)
and I pity those from decent homes with parents who try who live in a culture that tolerates barbarians, goblins, crime and degeneracy.
it's the same here in Nashville, pathetic public middle and senior high schools sitting within bb-gun range of million dollar homes (Hillwood and Hillsboro and Overton) and overrun with gangstas of every stripe.
shootings, stabbings, rapes in the bathroom, assaults on staff.
an unfixable mess given our soft sensibilities.
it sure ain't the money.
now, our property taxes go up again for schools we don't use and private school tuition soars as well
God bless America.
Check out page four of the newsletter! under ESL news! They don't know Ismael from Isaac and a Bible from a Koran! Maybe the girl was an "infidel". Or maybe just because she was female.
My first thought was "Unbelievable!" but then upon further consideration, I'm not surprised. Sicko and sad society.
Yes, I noticed that hand sign as well. I figured it for some kind of gang thing.
"The worst is the assistant principal telling the father not to call the police. We don't want our school getting bad press ..."
Were it my child, that ass-istant principal would still be in the coma he entered into just after making that comment.
I would say this is unbelievable, but I think it really isn't. The political left has left its mark on our culture. Certainly, not all religious people are good, but those who believe in the Ten Commandments and believe they are ultimately answerable for what they do in their lives would not do something like this. For more than a generation there has been open hostility by the left to religious values.
You don't have to be religious to know this was wrong.
And moral relativism doesn't make much difference does it? I mean, I really don't care if my feeling this was wrong is subjective. I still want to kick their asses, relativism or no.
