As my wife would say: Is that a trick question?
Call Nanny 911?
Spoiled brat behavior develops over many years. If the husband in your scenario tolerated it in the beginning becasue he thought she was "hot", he deserves what he ended up with.
Sad, but true.
I have heard that men with major cash flow are also sexy to most women. The anecdotal evidence for this fact of life is overwhelming.
I am not sure about this. All of the men I have dated have been highly intelligent. :]
"I want someone who can hold up their end of a deep conversation. If they're smart, they'll know communication is a very important skill in any endeavor."
OK. What shall we talk about, Dear? I'm listening.
.....I knew you would swoon. And I am *so smart* that I have pre-placed smelling salts on the throw rug there, within your reach.
LOL
"How about: A disproportionate number of us are butt-ugly? Nature compensates."
SPEAK FOR YOURSELF, EINSTEIN....
LOL
You couldn't tell it by my track record, I've always worked and contributed in my 2 marriages and the few relationships I've had.
There's a name for women who use men for money. I think you can figure it out.....
I don't doubt your observation, but if you look around at the young things that marry old things, money is clearly part of the picture. Check out some of the goony pro-athletes and see what they have hanging on their arms.
My wife married me when we were still in college. We struggled, survived, and prospered.
I read the whole thing, and now I wish I hadn't.
Nope, he's a geek. This sob story is as old as time, it's the geeks lament. Women have never liked geeky men in any numbers, and I suspect never will.
I admit it, I was a jerk when I was dating. I routinely gave women false numbers and often times didn't even use my real name, becuase honestly, I didn't plan on calling back and didn't want her calling me either. A behavior that used to infuriate my nice-guy buddy, and life-long best friend. He went out of his way to be nice, and couldn't score if the goalie went for popcorn. I was a jerk who just wanted to get laid, and I rarely went without.
I'm a very smart man, and I for one am not chronologically displaced. As a matter of fact, I tend to mock the types who act as though they were born a 100 years to late.
He was always the "nice guy". Girls would call him for rides home when a date went bad. Girls would call him to cry about men in their life. He was the guy who would take them to see the concert they wanted to go see, because he cared.
But for most of his life, he couldn't buy a date. Women wanted everything from him but sex. Despite being seemingly ideal, 6'3, trim, good looking, good job etc, he just didn't have the mojo. Granted, his association with me didn't help. I was everything he wasn't, 5'1", built like a tank, wild facial hair, and I was often times getting the girls he wanted. The difference was that I made my intentions clear, and it worked.
I'm not buying that for a minute. The jerk who's obviously trying to get laid has a much better chance at doing so than the empathetic weenie who's listening to her.
Check my post 77 on this thread for a more detailed view of what I am saying. I agree that 'nice guys' give to much and don't expect anything in return. Women don't find this appealing.
1) A fellow who holds the door open while his wife carries in the groceries.
LOL! I fell in love with Mr. Ex when he tipped his Stetson and a cocky grin in my direction. :) Just goes to show that articles like this are dumb...each woman is as different as every man. The basics are common to us all, but it's the quirks that gotta mesh, imo. BTW, that was a really sweet thing to do...I would have been charmed myself. :)
Criminy. Each of those describes me.
I must be a perfectly hideous man to date. Ladies, be warned!
