I always think in the morning that I'll make a post in the evening, but by the time evening time gets, my physical strength is gone and I go to sleep.
Tom, I want to thank you and your Rangers for moving me into my bunkhouse. It looks absolutely great!
My leg brace is supposed to be here this aftertoon.
At that time I'll get to finally get out of this bed and get fitted with my brace. It will then be sent back to the manufacturer for any adjustments needed. I don't know what the long term plan is for this brace, but I'll find out this afternoon.
I know the longterm plan for me includes another five days in this bed (YUCK! - LOL!)

Well, my pleasant little afternoon was interrupted by the the bandage nurse changing my bandages for the first time since surgery. All of you who have had major surgery know that includes those little tubes called drain tubes.
Thank you, dear Lord, that it's over.
I want to thank the Major and all his prayer warriors.
Knowing this thread existed has pulled me through many dark holes.
There are so many special who occupy this thread that I know I can't thank you all. I just thank God that you're here.
Thank you, amom, for always reminding me of all the people who pray for me every day.
May the Good Lord bless you all. With His strength we will win this battle.
Oh wow! I'm here to see your post T.C. It's good to know that progress is being made and each day moves you closer to the victory lap. I pray for the Lord to give you, not only strength, but patience to withstand the boredom of being immobile. Nothing is harder than waiting if you are accustomed to being active. But this too shall pass before you know it Cowboy. Hang in there. We love you.
Happy Day! A post from you, TC, and a good progress report indeed! Can't wait to hear all about the soon-to-be-famous leg brace they're cooking up for you. It will surely help you get around.
Ongoing prayers for you and your med team and your wonderful supportive family TC. May God bless and keep you all.
It's really good to hear from you, TC. Progress sounds steady. We think about you and pray for you often.
Go get 'em Big Guy ~ we love ya!
Continuing prayers.
It looks absolutely great!
Whatever it takes to get you back to Texas!!!
Great to hear from you Cowboy.........we've all been thinking of you and praying constantly -
So good to hear from you TC. You will be in prayers constantly. I'm visiting Dallas for the first time ever during the 4th of July weekend. I'll be thinking of you when I'm there.
Look at that! It's TC. I am sure glad to get a ping to come over and see how you are doing. And, I love getting this kind of good news.
(p.s. I know I don't mind that you can't post all the time since I know you are using all your strength to recoup and make a dramatic comeback....oh and if you think getting a little sugar would help speed up your recovery, just let me know...........I have just the thing (wink))
good to know you are recovering on schedule.
prayers remain UP
You have some great friends, that Eaker guy and his better half. I haven't been there to help him, so he has been putting in overtime with TheMom. The stars for theirs crowns should arrive shortly.
Prayers, always.

Hey Texas Cowboy -
Hang in there.
You've been in my prayers even though I haven't posted until now.
Good luck and God bless -

Five more days in bed, with nurses attending to your every need, and you say "YUCK?" You must be hurting. I'll pray harder. ; )
Once again I can only say that you inspire as much as you are inspired. Prayers and good thoughts continue.
You will be boogying in no time,TC, and save a dance for me.
Fondly,
Mears
It's such a treat to hear from you, TC. It's just outstanding, really!
It amazes me that you're already being outfitted with a brace. Now that's progress! Shouldn't surprise me. You handle each of your challenges with an uncommon amount of resolve. I've known a lot of winners in my life but few of them can compare with you. Really mean that.
Maybe you'd better ask to have racing stripes painted on the sides of your brace. I think you're going to need them!
Don't know that you like them but should you get a hankerin' for doughnuts, I recommend that you ask someone to run over to Stan's in Westwood Village for you. I'm pretty sure they make the best in the universe. No lie.
Keep taking care. Prayers continue for you each day.
HUGS!
Thanks for the update -- for biting the bullet and getting the word out about your progress.
Prayers continue!
Well, my pleasant little afternoon was interrupted by the the bandage nurse changing my bandages for the first time since surgery. All of you who have had major surgery know that includes those little tubes called drain tubes.
That sounds like fun.
