A Few Prayers for Texas Cowboy!!
The Horse's Mouth | 08-Apr-05 | Tom Eaker

Prayers for TexasCowboy!

TexasCowboy has been using his hip injury as an excuse to prevent his friends from shooting his new riot gun.

Well some of us offered to take a look at it for him and he decided both a proffesional and sober opinion might make more sense.

So he found a coupon and now he is going to let some old saw-bones cut on him.

Probably a better idea than letting us do it, but a few folks feelings are still hurt!

Please all say a prayer for our Cowboy that he is back in the saddle again real soon.

Wow, mine is a copy of course but it is large and very dramatic. TC flattened that wolf himself? :) I wouldn't doubt it. He's da man! :)

Know it will bring a Big Texas Cowboy grin to his face.

You are absolutely 100% correct. He loved it!

ALL: TC is very moved with all the warm wishes and prayers on this thread. He will post personally when he is more able. He is better today than yesterday. Healing continutes as well as prayers.

Well tell him to fight through it, beat it into the dirt for ever, and get back over here to FR; we need him!

So, someone made our little MissV cranky?

Today it was her Daddy. :)

Her Mom and Grandma had gone shopping for material a dress for Mom to wear to Aunt "B"'s wedding a week from today. Dad was feeding her, and trying to watch Tiger Woods come in 2nd in the US Open. She was pretty hungry when she woke up from the nap she was taking when Mom left. Dad didn't burp her soon enough, and she ended up depositing a good fraction of the bottle onto his tee shirt. After cleanup of Miss V and Dad, she was still hungry, but the Milk Source was due home "soon" and really did need servicing. So Grandpa got the duty of trying to burp her after she drank the little bit left in the bottle, and then until Mom and Grandma came back. Grandpa didn't do too badly, but still had to listen to a fair amount of crying right in his ear.

When Mom finally got home, Miss V went right to work, and then caught some ZZ's.

All went to a Hungarian restaurant for father's day dinner. Miss V was on her best behavior, mostly sleeping, the entire time. In fact it was the continuation of that same snooze that she woke up from just after Mom and Grandma had left.

Grandpa had fed her earlier in the day, and then she and he took short naps.

Sorry to deprive you of a good nag. Especially after you practiced so hard last night.

You can expect what you wish, but no amount of nagging is going to produce a report tomorrow. I'm now about 50 or 55 miles north of Miss V, and will not see her again until Friday, when she and her parents, and her grandpa, make the trek accross the Texas prarie almost to the Red River in preparation for her Aunt "B"'s wedding on Sunday next. Next report might come Friday night, or might be delayed until as late as Monday night or Tuesday of the following week.

Miss V's Great Grandma (Madre del Gato) along with her paternal Uncle "S" (El Gato Tambien) and his family will be trekking down from Nebraska Friday as well. We'll try to get some four generation pictures at the Wedding... I'll be the only male, as usual. :) (We have only daughters, and all three of our exchange students, were female too.)

I should be able to speak and read German, but I can't/ My maternal Grandmother wss a Kunz. The Kunz family, my Great-Great Grandparents, and their first 3 children came to American in the 1860s from the grape growing and wine making area near Heidelberg. Great Great Grandma was a Wiengartner (sic).

A little fast on the post button.. again.

Wiengartner => Wenninger (had to go look it up, and now I'm looking at a couple of different photos of her, GG Grandpa Kunz and of their 10 kids who survived to adulthood.

I wuv you too, but lately I've been to busy to wuv anybody with any consistancy. I should be in bed. I have to be the guide for one of the tour buses at 9:00 a.m. in the morning. The River Explorer is docking and we have four (4) tour buses to accomodate. No walking tour for this boat. Probably will have one for the next boat (Delta Queen).
