Prayers for TexasCowboy!
TexasCowboy has been using his hip injury as an excuse to prevent his friends from shooting his new riot gun.
Well some of us offered to take a look at it for him and he decided both a proffesional and sober opinion might make more sense.
So he found a coupon and now he is going to let some old saw-bones cut on him.
Probably a better idea than letting us do it, but a few folks feelings are still hurt!
Please all say a prayer for our Cowboy that he is back in the saddle again real soon.
Thks for the TC update.
Careproviding is not any bother for some one you love wether a Dad, Husband or Son ect.
TC being up and alert one day and pooped the next is completely normal.
King Vanity will be up and out full force and then sleep one day all day then up and going again been that way for years. So I would expect with TC having more than most in care needs and will to survive everyday it takes allot of energy and spirit to do.
Ya'll are very lucky to have had the visit despite the wait to get home, hey better leaving late than arriving late, right?
Thanks again for sharing your big TC visit. You got to do what many would like to. That's pretty special.
God BLess OP and King Vanity
Oh Eakers, what a cool deal - getting to see him again! I'm soooo glad you got to go out there. And thank you for the report as well!
Prayers continue for this family, who are struggling with so much on their plates right now. Words sometimes fail me, but God knows...
Thanks for the update...
Thank you. Ya made my day!
One Prayer....on the way.
Hope you sleep well. And thanks again for the update. You and your husband are absolutely the best!
If Miss V's cold, my wife's bronchitis and whatever it is that I've got (taking antibiotics for whatever it is), are cleared up by Friday, Miss V, her Mother, and her I may stop in to see Keira and her parents on our way back from visiting Miss V's grandma. (We live about 3 1/2 hours apart, due to job factors, but that's an improvement over 5 1/2 to 6 hours we were since 1999 and until a year ago.)
Keira actually lives only about 1/2 hour from Miss V's Grandma.
I just checked Miss V's blog, and she is feeling better today. However she reports on the case of the missing sock:
Or, if you see a red x mash here
I know Halloween is over, but I have one more scary story. When the Mommy put me down for my nap I was wearing two peach socks. They have little white bows with red flowers and match my outfit. When I woke up, I was wearing only one sock (this is often the case). Mommy looked under the blanket in the crib for my sock; she looked on the floor in front of and on the sides of my crib for the sock; she looked behind my crib for the sock; however, there was no sock. Mommy thought because I was crying so loudly that maybe I had swallowed the sock. Luckily, she decided to change my diaper first and she found where I had hidden the sock. Then Mommy washed both socks. Wasn't I clever to fool mommy!
I posted that I was proud of her. :)
Dear Lord, please watch over, guard, guide, and protect TexasCowboy, Faith and Joel, and all the wonderful caring FReepers like TheMom and Eaker. May Thy healing hand touch TexasCowboy and restore him to good health. Bless them and give them strength and courage as they travel the paths laid before them. In Christ's name I pray. Amen.
Get well soon, TexasCowboy. We miss you.

Thanks for the ping, Tonk.
That's so sweet.
Funny that the name of the thread is "A Few Prayers", look at the number : )
Thanks for the ping. Been thinking about TC. Continued prayers, as always.
Thank you for your beautiful and continued prayers for TC.
It still amazes him how much support he has here on FR.
