Hey... isn't the author doing a little 'channeling' here? Whoa... this hack should hold out for more money. Ain't often you get a psychic-reporter on the staff!
I guess Anorexia, obesity in childhood killed Terri... at least, that's what they're telling themselves now.
Interesting that the "loved one" who should have noticed any eating disorder at that stage of Terri's life was her husband, Mikey!
WOW. Making up stories seems to be the norm these days. Everything in there was pure speculation on the part of the author.
*****It is likely***** Terri was complimented by"
Sounds like she was guessing one and two referring to what was LIKELY said before she entered the hospital.
Where does the channeling come in?
"I guess Anorexia, obesity in childhood killed Terri... at least, that's what they're telling themselves now."
It killed Carpenter. Doctors have offered their opinion that she may have been bulimic. Is that not plausible?
I wonder if one of these pictures is on the net somewhere. I have a hard time believing this girl ever weighed 250 pounds. I wonder where the writer got that info --- from Michael?
People who are so blatantly ignorant of the facts shouldn't be allowed to write news articles.
Yo, Jennifer - Your article is a thesis built on a steaming pile of crap. First, her HUSBAND, with whom she was living at the time of her "collapse", was her "close relative" that should have noticed any signs of an eating disorder. Second, you need to demonstrate that it is feasible, plausible, and probable that she was anorexic before blaming her "collapse" on that disorder. Third, you don't even catch a whiff of the irony in your assertion that Terri was starved to death because she was anorexic.
Pathetic.
Ms. Hunter is offending people right and left, big and small, old and young as she attempts to spin.
Bottom line: Terri's parents did not kill her.
There is no proof that Terri had an eating disorder. Why do we not see any photos of a heavy Terri anywhere?
You can bet your patute Michael would have gotten them out in public if he could have.
While we are discussing the Schiavo case, yet again. We need to talk about the scumbag, Randall Terry, who ghoulishly exploited the Schindlers to further his own agenda. Randall Terry has a long criminal record in connection with his violent groups, even spending 5 months in Federal prison.
We should also talk about the way that miserable piece of fecal matter, Louis Sheldon (of the TVC) exploited the Schiavo case to further his own fund-raising. Sheldon appears to be running the TVC for the purpos of enriching Louis Sheldon and family, not for a purpose of promoting stronger families.
If Terri was bulimic, I find it odd that Michael had no idea. My husband's ex-wife was bulimic. He was only 25 when he figured it out and made her go for treatment.
How about that, a new disease! What should we call it? How about, "Not-Strangulation Eating Disorder Collapse in the Middle of the Night Cutting off Oxygen to the Brain and Breaking Most of your Bones Because You Spent $80 on a Haircut and your Husband Was Furious Syndrome."
I'm going to start a foundation to help investigate the causes of this dreadful new syndrome that cuts down so many healthy young women in their sleep.
This will be good for a 200 post pissing contest.
I think they're feeling a little guilty . . . wonder why?
Her husband said under oath that she did not suffer from a eating disorder, early in the trial.
Let the Furies descend.
All the binge foods and sticky toilet seats. Long trips to the bathroom. My sister was 5'6" and down to 85 lbs and could still point out how fat her forearms were.
The irony was, I was the fat sister. From age 7 to 16 I was taken from one doc to the next and put on all kinds of meds to make me lose weight (none worked). Once I understood what my sister was doing, I even tried..but couldn't develope bulemia (by the Grace of God). It's always been curious to me that in a time period where society was aware of eating disorders, no one close to her caught on. Yet I also read that when Terri fell in her kitchen, Michael didn't attempt CPR, which even the untrained will attempt in an emergency.
