Freeper friends, Terri's Memorial Service is this coming Tuesday night in Gulfport, Florida. Please check and see if www.baynews9.com will carry it on the internet.
I'm still sad and in disbelief that the rescue fell apart. It was on it's way. We were waiting there for ambulances but instead two Sheriff's cruisers arrived.
There's much work to do. There are many work groups here carrying on for Terri.
The April Daily Thread as before will be a meeting place, a news digest and even in the midst of sorrow, a place to make friends.
I want to thank everyone who did everything humanly possible for Terri and her family. Terri's safe now from a room with the blinds closed, strange people and armed guards. She'd still be here if it wasn't for judicial despots who it appears have never read the Declaration of Independence or the U.S. or Florida Constitution.
Freepers, Republicans and Democrats alike voted against Terri or didn't do enough to save her from Judge Greer.
I'd like to thank Ralph Nader, David Boies, Joe Lieberman and Wesley Smith, Phd, author of Forced Exit.
I have disdain for the Naughty Nine Republicans in the Florida Senate who vote "No" which barred Terri from legislative relief. The GOP House Members who voted "No" on Terri, shame on them too.
WHAT EXACTLY IS THE AGENDA AND WHO IS IN CHARGE? I'm afraid that Judge George Greer is in charge - of everything.
PLEASE HELP FLORIDA... CALL YOUR SENATORS AND CONGRESSMEN/WOMEN.
HELP US. We feel stranded by tyranny today, but Florida is ripe for change. We will demand it together as Americans.
Thanks, FV
Hey all. I just needed some down time after Terri died. I've been reading about Mae.Yall did good.
One of the best ways to contact any of Terri's FReepers is to put any name in the address bar when you post. Hopefully that way at least someone has been pinged to your post. I am just now getting chance to review this thread for the first time in hours. Also you could ping me, and I can call the other Terri Freepers this way. Is there any way that I can help you even though this is hours later from your post? Did you get your thread started?
Interesting to say the least. Thanks for the tip.
absolutely - If we let this die down - we let Terri down.
Support DeLay = he's standing up for us
It might seem like a lot don't care any more, and probably a lot don't. But everyone's been changed by it, that I am sure of. If it's any encouragement to you at all, know that there are lots of lurkers on these threads who don't post but are reading everything we write, and looking at our links, and writing and calling. There are so many others that we are just unaware of, but they're out there just the same.
A link at the TEJ says
Timeline of Terri's Tragedy click here
however, if you click it, you get...

Could I add that I don't believe in justice from our courts at this time either?
I think a lot of us are reflecting and wondering how our country got to where it is and what we can do to change things. Many didn't forget Elian even though he wasn't "in the news" anymore. It cost Al Gore a presidency though and people will remember Terri at the polls too IMO.
They call themselves "Clown Posse", huh? OK, I'll agree with that. That was - uh - "educational", to say the least. Thanks for the link.

BTW, I am VERY THANKFUL for The Empire Journal!!!
BINGO!!!
But for Greer and his insane violation of Terri's Constitutional "Right to CHOOSE"---to eat or drink by mouth---Terri would be alive today and there would have been NO reason for the so-called police "protection." Since Greer ordered it and the Hospice abided by it, HE and THEY should PAY for it!!!
Agreed. Elian won't be forgotten nor will Terri. So many things have gotten screwed up that straightening them out again seems overwhelming. Yet when diagramming how various issues connect, the crucial areas where action is needed become more apparent. Terri was important in exposing more of the pattern. Not just euthanasia, but also the overall role of the judiciary in America. And how every issue comes from the fight between good and evil.
I suggest two points, the first being that the congress can tell the difference between the standard MoveOn boiler room operation, and the legitimate expression of the majority of Americans.
The second point I would make is that the American people are not pleased with the murder of Terri Schiavo, nor with rationalizing by the murderers or by those who refused to prevent the murder.
Of course a vocal minority of shrieking fairies prefers judicial tyranny and loathes Tom Delay as despicable.
I pray that those who cannot see will see and repent. I fear that the trumpet will blow and so many will be locked out of the kingdom forever.
Just starting my first cup of coffee, sorry if this is a bummer. You're a blessing!
If you think for one minute that it wasn't the hand of God that sustained Terri for as long as He did you are horribly mistaken. It's a miracle alone that with the lack of good medical care, being cut off from her family, no sunlight and whatever abuse she took behind closed doors didn't take her long ago.
What man could have done this? We all hate that Terri's gone, however, ultimately Almighty God made the decision to take her.
www.terrisfight.org was down for awhile
There is a time for prayer and a time for protesting. And those times do not and should not, necessarily coincide.
MoveOn members are at best extreme hypocrites. Imagine, defending Clinton for his bizarre behavior and dividing the nation, yet going after DeLay for some minor point.
Today's The Washington Times lists 12 other politicians with relatives on their staff, including Joe Lieberman who has his son and daughter. I see nothing wrong with it. Incidentally, Lieberman spoke in support of Terri.
