I hope mr. limbaugh is correct:
Schiavo: Awakening A Sleeping Giant by David Limbaugh
It is just possible, contrary to my original thoughts, that the tragic Schiavo case will not usher in a slippery slope toward euthanasia but cause a double-barreled backlash against both the "Culture of Death" and judicial activism.
To be sure, the legal precedent established in this case, at least in Florida, represents an affirmative devaluation of human life and opens the door to further troubling scenarios, involving the state-sanctioned murder of the inconvenient, based on "quality of life" assessments.
But I sense in this nation a growing outrage at the arrogance and unaccountability of our judiciary, and at the cavalier attitude many are exhibiting toward life.

I think you are correct but for perhaps a different reason. The MSM are fickle and they love a good scandal...now that this phase of the story is over and they got their "death"...the facts about MS will start to trickle out and they will turn on him in a skinny minute...and that is when the masses (that have been misled by the MSM to this point) will start to change their minds....Just my 2 cents.
The moderates won this ining because they had the better pitcher, but they played in a way sure to produce no paying spectators. The enablers of the goon squad are not capable of generating positive fervor, as it regards this murder they refer to as a mercy killing.
They haven't got the energy, death and the love of death provide nothing but negative, depleting energy. Did you see The Passion of the Christ? If so, the enablers are like the baby the devil was holding in its arms, their fervor was conceived, born and delivered in the pit. They can burrow further down, but they cannot rise above.
And those that are ambivalent? They are the same as those Germans who never actually participated in the Holocaust but went along to get along.
"I'm getting a little concerned that we're polarizing so much in this Country, and now this, that we may slip into somewhat of a civil war that may not be too civil.."
I'm thinking that, too. Maybe this country NEEDS a civil war to take back our rights and return our freedom. Take back the power from the feds and from the judiciary.
That is one thing I never understood. Judge Moore was removed from the bench, but Greer is hailed.
This country is on it's last legs unless we do something about it. Sadly, the apathy and laziness in this country is a prescription for destruction.
a lotta people are going to sign pre-nuptial agreements stating that either the man's or woman's parents will have a say in the decision making and access to the son or daugher in the event of a trauma
The polls be damned on right and wrong. You fight for what is right regardless.
However, the polls have been dropping from their highs in the 70-80% since this started. Why? Education of the facts. We keep defending Right and the public will eventually get the message.
The news is out. It's been beaten into the ground for the last 14 days.
Bill Clinton was a creep, and the public sided with him, overwhelmingly.
Most of the facts and details of the case are unknown to the general public.
I mean, how many knew her bone scan showed she had almost every bone in her body broken before or up to the attempted murder/spell?
People who are educated to the facts will not feel peace over this death at all IMO.
I've been feeling like this Country may slip into somewhat of a Civil War for a few years now.
Look at how people react to many political issues, and we all know what they are without listing them all !!
I have a strong intuition on this.
Been wondering how a person prepares for it ...?
Who took the polls? liberals?......L A Times? Who???
Did you believe the polls prior to the 2004 elections. They were all wrong and deliberately so. What makes you think they were legit this time around?
Bump
The country has been tipping - ever since the congressional elections in '94.
We have a very long way to go.
How's that motto go? "Live free or die"?
Of course nobody would like it, duh. But if that's all that's left to you it probably looks a hell of a lot better than the alternative.

Go to www.lauraingraham.com and look for the article by Michelle Malkin on the MSM. You can get a poll to turn out how you want it by the questions and how they are worded.
Bah on the polls!
Their standard mantra is that "a woman has a right to make decisions about her own body.".....nevermind that Michael Schaivo said over and over again throughout the first 5+ years of Terri's hospitalization, that he had no idea of what she wanted.
Only after he won the two sums ($750K and another $300+K) did he suddenly recall that she had clearly said that she "didn't want any tubes........" to prolong her life.
But the "feminazis" have to stick to their abortion agenda which is supported by that very tired old theme about a woman's right to decide things concerning her own body. For N.O.W. and other liberal feminist groups, plus George Felos (Hemlock Society member), Terri's fondest wish concerning her disabled body was to get out of it a.s.a.p. - to abort herself as an adult.
