I didn't think this day was coming. I absolutely did not.

We need to form a COALITION with everyone who found this appalling."
All of us have had disagreements on this board, so I think we should try to form a COALITION for two reasons.
I have two points I want to accomplish:
1) start an investigation into the state of Florida's part in this matter, up to and including Gov. Bush, and
2) Get the HOUSE BILL PASSED by the SENATE that protects the rights of all the disabled.
If we can get agreement on both of these points, I would be happy. If we can't get agreement on both, then we may need to form two separate coalitions, where we can join both if we feel strongly on each point.
The most important is 2). So we can get the culture of death stopped in their tracks. That's the one I bet everyone here could support.
I knew, but wasn't as prepared as I thought.

We were discussing this last night. Terri's bedroom was light purple or lavendar and white when she wa a girl. I looked up the significance of purple last night for Wampus. Blew me away to find out it's religious significance is sorrow and suffering. Aso mourning.

PLEASE bjs---please send this report to the email addresses, ALL OF THEM, found in post # 589 of this thread....we need proof that the examiner was WELL INFORMED of this....as he may find no need to strip Terri's skin and muscles and view her bones. I mean it.

Halls, just before the news broke you were saying something about that last pic of Terri being a fake. What did you mean? How do you know it's fake?

And do we NEED to know more about Judge Greer than the FACT that he denied the SCHINDLERS the opportunity to FEED and WATER their DAUGHTER BY MOUTH once the feeding tube was removed?

I feel somehow peaceful in the midst of this madness. To think Terri is with the Lord now, feeling no more pain. I really badly wanted her to live, but since God decided not to miraculously save her, I accept His will. Terri is happier now than any of us can imagine. She is with the Lord and regardless of what MS does with her body, he has no power over her anymore. My worry now is for the Schindlers. It's unimaginable what they have gone through. God keep them now. They are in my prayers and in my heart forever.

Maybe start the petition for number 2) above, so we have the most agreement and the best chance to do something.
Get the HOUSE BILL PASSED by the SENATE that protects the rights of all the disabled.
If we can't get a simple bill like that past in the Senate, then they are not conservative and we need to throw them out in the next election.
Since you have experience in setting up the petition, would you do it?
I guess we need to look up the wording of the bill, but when I heard the difference into the two bills, it was so obvious which one needed to become law.
Absolutely. It effects people in different ways, I know that. I've gone back and forth between rage and tears and thanksgiving to the Lord, and back again. I think we are all just reeling.
My daughter left on her own accord. She is on the road and living in her car. She called me on Easter, and visited my mother on monday; 500 miles from where we live.
But, yesterday was her birthday, and I do not know where she is, or how she is. There is nothing I can do. With the way mental health laws are in this country, They do not care if she is a danger to herself or others, she is over 18 and I am powerless to force her to get help.
I feel extremely hopeless and helpless today with my daughter and the death of Terri......
