Defying all odds Terri is still alive.
Are you being targeted for euthanasia? (Schiavo case only the tip of the iceberg!)
Schiavo parents plan new US Supreme Court appeal
Florida lawmaker says he will consider impeaching Schiavo Judge Greer
me to nic, I also am ashamed of this country and that in the United States of America Terri Schindler (I won't use Schiavo because I do not consider Michael Schiavo married to her) is being starved and dehydrated to death.
Bring on Jessy Jackson give us a serman about morals. Even if he has sinned, I will still lsiten to him talk to us about "This is Morally wrong" His words have moved me more than anybody elses words.
It's not a personal thing, it's a constitutional one. The judge cannot order the governor not to follow the law or Constitution and save this woman. And if a judge tries, as in this case, the governor has a choice: Do I follow the order of a judge, or do I follow the Constitution?
People forget that judges' orders do not enforce themselves. The execution of law and orders is the role of the executive. Jeb has the ultimate police power in the state. He could stop the arrests, if he wanted to. State trumps locality.
But that aside--If it is true Jeb is powerless to act, why doesn't he at least head down to the hospice and see the family?
If no one explains, how is anyone to understand?
Gnna say my prayers for terri and this Nation and go to bed.
G'nite all

NOT related to earlier discussion.
Welcome to FR.
Why???
Thanks for the link. This excerpt from the link speaks to those who are kidding themselves:
"He said minutes before trying to get into the hospice he had been praying and reading scripture, proverbs 24, verses 12 through 24, to be exact. He explains what those passages mean to him.
"It says, don`t say you didn`t know, because God knows you and he knows you knew, so its a mandate to try to help," said Dr. Pursley."
You know, I don't know how to say this nicely but your so full of yourself.
Just posting a news stry I found. It was the first Ihad heard about him speaking to the press.
I know I said I was going to bed and I am, really I must.
You might find any articles you find written by the Baptist Newspaper to be very well written, well thought out and informative.
Here is a recent one- http://www.floridabaptistwitness.com/4096.article
This website does a VERY good job.
Gee...ya think????
It's beyond my comprehension how Dictator Greer can have people arrested people for giving water to a thirsty, dying woman.
Judge Greer made a ruling that was AGAINST THE CONSTITUTION.
But, Greta Van Susteren is a Scientologist. :)
Alan Keyes is a good man but what could he do? I fear nothing will happen.
I also thing that at this point the only thing we have is "Our Hope is in the Name of the Lord"
Even the Schindler family attorney GibbsIII said that the only thing left now is hope.
Mr Schindler looked so bad in that photo that was a little higher up in this thread. It breask your heart doesn't it?
