Defying all odds Terri is still alive.
Are you being targeted for euthanasia? (Schiavo case only the tip of the iceberg!)
Schiavo parents plan new US Supreme Court appeal
Florida lawmaker says he will consider impeaching Schiavo Judge Greer
This happens all the time. The elderly are sitting ducks for con artists, and now murderers. Very sad, and very dangerous for our elderly neighbors and relatives.
that wouldn't surprise me in the least. Scary!
Excellent idea.
Where is everyone? now that Terri is dead are we not interested in her anymore? I see many have moved on to Terri is dead thread so maybe we should just go there. I don't know, i like how it was just us few here that would talk together every day. Her death now has all the other freepers coming out!
lol I signed for my husband there that was my comment.
What about asking Mel to do a movie?
So technically since she died because she needed 'artificial life support' in the form of the feeding tube he could be charged with her murder. Excellent idea.
That is not the case Halls. For many, it is like their first combat loss. They will be back. I am proud of them all.
I have wondered......she would be horrified like so many of us!
I keep asking, what could I have done...
was all this effort for naught?
I truly cannot make a difference.
THAT sounds like a GOOD idea. And it would be the TRUTHFUL version.
Things happen sometimes that make you think there is no God at all. Don't believe it.
They most know this is a COALITION of people. Not just the Religious Right and not just AVERAGE folks.
Bring on Jesse Jackson as well!
We must contact Rick Santorum and Tom Delay!
I sooo know my God... I just sometimes want to savor the taste of victory.... here and now...
TO have seen Terri be healed and tell of how she was alive all along was what I ached for....
Me to, I am proud of them all!
I know. It would of been nice to prove to the whole world how she could of got better with proper therapy and then shoved it into the doubters faces. Our wish did not come true. Cry your heart out, it was not fair.
I think we're probably all still here. I for one am still digesting and processing the events especially of the day, but also of the last several weeks. Just feel mostly like being silent right now.
Her family is in my prayers and will continue to be. They were the perfect picture of grace today in their press conference. I cried for the first time when I heard their words of forgiveness. I've been praying that God would get the glory through this situation, and He certainly did today through the Schindler's declared faith in Him, and their following Christ's example of forgiveness, saying, "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do."
Truly amazing people. Always reaching out, even in their deep sorrow, and being the picture of God's grace which they allowed to shine through them.
This happened to me when my oldest was 4. We were at K-Mart getting a gift for her sister's 2nd b-day and I had both of them with me. The oldest was playing in and under the rounders (with clothes hanging) and brought it down on herself and injured her wrist. It swelled up, I think.
A customer who was a nurse told me I should take her and have it looked at. The urgent care doc started asking my daughter all these questions which I started to answer. The doctor looked at me and I realized he didn't want ME to answer. Scary, I know.
So did the nurse think you bit your daughter's tongue? :)
